Devotions with a promise of immediate beatification at death

The Seven Sorrows of Our Lady

According to St Bridget of Sweden (1303 –1373) the Blessed Virgin Mary grants seven graces to the souls who honor her daily by saying 7 Hail Mary’s and meditating on her tears and dolors (sorrows). The Hail Mary is prayed seven times, once after each meditation.

1.                  I will grant peace to their families.

2.                  They will be enlightened about the divine mysteries.

3.                  I will console them in their pains and I will accompany them in their work.

4.                  I will give them as much as they ask for as long as it does not oppose the adorable will of my divine Son or the sanctification of their souls.

5.                  I will defend them in their spiritual battles with the infernal enemy and I will protect them at every instant of their lives.

6.                  I will visibly help them at the moment of their death, they will see the face of their Mother.

7.                  I have obtained (This Grace) from my divine Son, that those who propagate this devotion to my tears and dolors, will be taken directly from this earthly life to eternal happiness since all their sins will be forgiven and my Son and I will be their eternal consolation and joy.

Precious Drops of Blood

St. Elizabeth, Queen of Hungary, with St. Matilda and St. Bridget, wishing to know something of the Passion of Jesus Christ, offered fervent and special prayers, upon which Our Lord revealed to them:

·        1st  The plenary indulgence and remittance of your sins.

·        2nd  You will be free from the pains of Purgatory.

·        3rd  If you should die before completing the said 3 years, for you it will be the same as if you had completed them.

·        4th  It will be upon your death the same as if you had shed all your blood for the Holy Faith.

·        5th  I will descend from Heaven to take your soul and that of your relatives, until the fourth generation. Blessed by His Holiness Pope Leo XIII in Rome, April 5, 1890.

Prayer for daily Neglects

By means of this prayer a Poor Clare nun appeared to her abbess and said “I went straight to heaven, for by means of this prayer I rected every evening, I paid my debts” “Eternal Father, I offer You the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with all its Love, all its sufferings and all its Merits. First –To expiate all the sins I have committed this day and during all my life. Glory be to the Father and the Son. Second –To purify the good I have done badly this day and during all my life. Glory be to the Father and to the Son. Third –To supply for the good I ought to have done, and that I have neglected this day and during all my life. Glory be to the father and the Son…”

Daily Prayer of Resignation to the Will of God in Death

A sure means of salvation: From the writings of St. Francis de Sales, Bishop and Doctor of the Church: "Many people are tormented at death with the remembrance of their sins, and seeing that they have done no penance, are tempted to despair." He tells us that there is a perfect remedy – Namely, "to accept death and unite your death with that of Jesus Christ. And I do not at all doubt that he who is grieved for having offended God and accepts death willingly in satisfaction for his sins will immediately obtain pardon."  From the book "Preparation For Death" by St. Alphonsus Maria de Liguori, Bishop and Doctor of the Church: "To accept death in order that the will of God may be fulfilled, merits for us a reward similar to that of the martyrs, because they accepted death to please God. He who dies in union with the will of God makes a holy death; and the more closely he is united to it, the more holy death he dies. The Venerable Blosius declares that an act of perfect conformity to the will of God at the hour of death not only delivers us from Hell but also from Purgatory."  Daily Prayer of Resignation in Death: “My most sweet Jesus, I accept the death Thou has destined for me; with all the pains that may accompany it; I unite it to Thy death, I offer it to Thee. Thou hast died for love of me; I will die for love of Thee and to please Thee.” It is recommended that you say this prayer daily as we do not know the day of our death, and what a blessing it would be to have said it on our last day. "Time spent in honor of God and for the salvation of souls is never badly spent." – Saint Padre Pio

Holy Face Devotion

On November 24, 1843, Our Lord spoke the following words to the French Carmelite, Sister Marie de Saint-Pierre: "The earth is covered with crimes. The violation of the first three Commandments of God has irritated My Father. The Holy Name of God blasphemed, and the Holy Day of the Lord profaned, fills up the measure in iniquities. These sins have risen unto the Throne of God and provoked His wrath which will soon burst forth if His justice be not appeased. At no time have these crimes reached such a pitch." Our Lord appeared several times to Sister Marie to ask for reparation to be done to His Holy Face. These revelations enjoy the full approval of the Catholic Church. Heaven has told us through Sister Marie that the Holy Face of Jesus is a symbol of the Catholic Religion. Is this not a veiled prophecy for the Church of our day? The crisis of Faith that has stricken the Church since the 1960's is one that has corrupted and disfigured the face of Catholicism.

1. The Golden Arrow Prayer:- An act of Praise and Reparation dictated by Our Lord to Sister Marie de Saint-Pierre: “May the Most Holy, Most Sacred, Most Adorable, Most Incomprehensible and Unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified, in Heaven, on earth, and under the earth, by all the creatures of God and by the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Most Holy Sacrament of the altar. Amen.” After receiving this prayer, Sister Marie was given a vision in which she saw the Sacred Heart of Jesus delightfully wounded by the "Golden Arrow" as torrents of graces streamed from It for the conversion of sinners.

2. Prayer to reproduce the Image of God in Our Souls: “I salute You, I adore You and I love You, adorable face of my beloved Jesus, as the noble stamp of the Divinity! Completely surrendering my soul to You, I most humbly beg You to stamp this seal upon us all, so that the image of God may once more be reproduced by its imprint in our souls. Amen

3. Holy Face aspiration to be recited frequently during the day: “Be merciful to us, O my God and reject not our prayers, when amid our afflictions, we call upon Thy Holy Name and seek with love and confidence Thine adorable Face. Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Holy Face of Jesus, covered with Blood, Sweat, dust and spittle, in reparation for the crimes of communists, blasphemers and by the profaners of His Holy Name and of the Holy Day of Sunday.”

4. Our Lord told Sister Marie de Saint-Pierre on March 16, 1844, "Oh if you only knew what great merit you acquire by saying even once, 'Admirable is the Name of God,' in the spirit of reparation of blasphemy." (say often).

5. To appease God’s justice and Draw down mercy upon us “Eternal Father, turn away Your angry gaze from all guilty people whose faces have become unsightly in Your eyes. Look instead upon the face of Your beloved Son, for this is the Face of Him in whom You are well pleased. We now offer you this Holy Face, covered with shame and disfigured by bloody bruises, in reparation for the crimes of our age, in order to appease Your anger, justly provoked against us. Because Your Divine Son, our Redeemer, has taken upon His head all the sins of His people that they might be spared, we now beg of You, Eternal Father to grant us mercy. Amen

6. O Lord Jesus Christ, in presenting ourselves before Thine adorable Face to ask of Thee the graces of which we stand most in need, we beseech Thee, above all, to grant us that interior disposition of never refusing at any time to do what Thou requires of us by Thy holy commandments and divine inspirations.  Eternal Father, we offer Thee the adorable Face of Thy well-beloved Son, for the honor and glory of Thy Holy Name and for the salvation of our country. Eternal Father, I ask of Thee as many souls as was the number of the drops of Blood as Thy Divine Son shed in His Passion.” (She was given a vision of Hell and the multitude of souls falling in, and was invited to pray for poor sinners. Dec. 21, 1846).

7. “Eternal Father, I offer Thee Our Savior, Jesus Christ for the expiation of my sins and for the needs of Holy Church. Amen.”

Promises of Our Lord Jesus Christ to Sr. Marie in favor of those who honor and adore His Holy Face

Our Lord said to St Gertrude concerning all those who would honour the Holy Face  “They shall receive in themselves, by the impression if My humanity, a bright irradiation of My divinity, and shall be so illuminated by it in their inmost souls that, by their likeness to My Face, they shall shine in eternal life with a brightness surpassing that of many others”

Our Lord promised to St. Mechtilde: “Those who embrace this work of reparation with true piety will not be lost, for I Myself will defend them before My Father and I will give them the Kingdom of Heaven. I will grant them the grace of final perseverance

Our Lord promised to Sr. Mary of St. Peter: “to imprint His Divine likeness upon the souls of those who honour the features of His face”  “By my Holy Face you shall work wonders!”  “Through this holy Face you will obtain the conversion of many sinners. Nothing that you ask in virtue of the Holy Face will refused to you. Oh if you only knew how pleasing is the sight of My face to My father” “Just as in an earthly kingdom, money which is stamped with the picture of the sovereign or ruling executive of the country procures whatever one desires to purchase, so, likewise, in the kingdom of heaven, you shall obtain all that you desire by offering the coin of My precious humanity, which is My adorable face” “Our Lord assured me that all persons who would apply themselves to this Work of Reparation to His Holy Face would perform the same service in His behalf as that which the saintly Veronica performed”

“I will give you My adorable Face and each time that you present it to My Father, My mouth will be open to plead your cause.” “In proportion to the care you take in making reparation to My face disfigured by blasphemies, I will take care of yours, disfigured by sin. I will imprint My image on it and render it as beautiful as when it was washed in the waters of Baptism” “Then Our Lord promised me that all who defended His cause in the Work of Reparation, whether by their words, their prayers or by their writing, He would Himself defend before His eternal Father, and that He would give them His Kingdom. Then it seemed to me that Our Lord urged me to extend this promise in His name to His priests who through a crusade of preaching would advance the cause of Reparation” “As for His spouses who would strive to honour and wipe His Holy Face in a spirit of atoning for blasphemies, Our Lord promised that at their death He would purify the face of their souls by effacing the stains of sin, and that He would restore to them their original beauty” “I believe that God has great plans of showing mercy to souls by revealing to us the power of His adorable Countenance. In this priceless gift we possess an infallible means of appeasing the anger of the Eternal Father, irritated by blasphemers, because whenever we beg Him to cast a look upon the Face of His Divine Son, the rod falls from His hands”

Making the way of the cross

To those who have a devotion to the Way of the cross Our Lord promised to Brother Estanislo (1903 –1927):

-                     I promise Eternal Life to those who pray from time to time the Way of the Cross.

-                     Even if they have more sins than blades of grass in the fields, and grains of sand in the sea, all of them will be erased by he Way of the Cross.

-                     I’ll deliver them from Purgatory, indeed if they go there at all, the first Tuesday or Friday after their death

-                     They’ll never be able to separate themselves from Me, for I’ll give them the grace never again to commit a Mortal sin.

-                     At the hour of death I’ll console them with My Presence and we’ll go together to Heaven. Death will be sweet to all those who have honored Me during their lives by praying The Way of the Cross.

Honouring the Holy Wounds

Revealed by Our Lord to Sr Mary Martha Chambon (1847 –1907).  The Rosary of the Holy Wounds:-

Crucifix:

·        Jesus, divine redeemer, be merciful to us and the whole world. Amen.

3 beads:

·        Strong God, holy God, immortal God, have mercy on us and on the whole world. Amen.

·        Grace and Mercy, O my Jesus during present dangers; cover us with Your precious Blood. Amen.

·        Eternal Father grant us mercy through the Blood of Jesus Chris, you only Son; grant us mercy, we beseech You. Amen, Amen, Amen.

Large beads:-

·        Eternal Father, I offer You the wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ. To Heal the wounds of Our Souls.

Small beads:-

·        My Jesus, pardon and mercy. Through the merits of Your holy wounds.

One day as St Gertrude was completing her prayers and salutations in honour of the Wounds of the Saviour, her compassion was rewarded by a vision of Our Lord, on whose Wounds rested golden roses. Our Lord said to her: “Behold, I will appear to you in this refulgent form at the hour of your death, and I will cover all your sins and adorn you with a glory like that with which you have adorned My wounds by your salutations. All who do so shall receive the like favour…At each word that you pronounce of the Chaplet of the Holy Wounds, I allow a drop of My blood to fall upon the soul of a sinner…Each time that you offer to My Father the merits of My Divine Wounds, you win an immense fortune…Souls that will have contemplated and honoured My Crown of Thorns on earth will be my crown of glory in Heaven!…From My Wounds proceed fruits of sanctity. As gold purified in the crucible becomes more beautiful, so you must put your soul and those of your companions into My sacred Wounds; there they will become perfected as gold in the furnace. You can always purify yourself in My Wounds…My wounds will repair yours. My wounds will cover all your faults. Those who honour them will have a true knowledge of Jesus Christ. In meditation on them, you will always find a new love. My Wounds will cover all your sins…Plunge your actions into My Wounds and they will be of value. All your actions, even to the last, soaked in my Blood, will acquire by this alone and infinite merit and will please My Heart…In offering My Wounds for the conversion of sinners, even though the sinners are not converted, you will have the same merit before God as if they were…When you have something to suffer, quickly place it in My Wounds and the pain will be alleviated…This aspiration must often be repeated near the sick: “My Jesus, pardon and mercy through the merits of your Holy Wounds!” This prayer will solace soul and body. …A sinner who will say the following prayer will obtain conversion: “Eternal father, I offer You the Wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ to heal those of our souls…There will be no death for the soul that expires in My Holy wounds; they give true life…This chaplet is a counterpoise to My justice; it restrains my vengeance…Those who pray with humility and who meditate on My Passion will one day participate in the glory of My Divine Wounds…The more you will have contemplated My painful Wounds on this earth, the higher will be your contemplation of them glorious in Heaven…The soul who during life has honoured the Wounds of our Lord Jesus Christ and has offered them to the Eternal Father for the Souls in Purgatory, will be accompanied at the moment of death by the Holy Virgin and the angels; and Our Lord on the Cross, all brilliant in glory, will receive her and crown her…The invocation of the Holy Wounds will obtain an incessant victory for the Church”

Honouring the Sacred Shoulder Wound of Our Lord Jesus Christ

According to St. Bernard, he asked Jesus which was His greatest unrecorded suffering and the wound that inflicted the most pain on Him in Calvary and Jesus answered: "I had on My Shoulder, while I bore My Cross on the Way of Sorrows, a grievous Wound which was more painful than the others and which is not recorded by men. Honor this Wound with thy devotion and I will grant thee whatsoever thou dost ask through its virtue and merit and in regard to all those who shall venerate this Wound, I will remit to them all their venial sins and will no longer remember their mortal sins."

'"O Loving Jesus, Meek Lamb of God, I miserable sinner, salute and worship the most Sacred Wound of Thy Shoulder on which Thou didst bear Thy heavy Cross, which so tore Thy Flesh and laid bare Thy Bones as to inflict on Thee an anguish greater than any other wound of Thy Most Blessed Body. I adore Thee, O Jesus most sorrowful; I praise and glorify Thee and give Thee thanks for this most sacred and painful Wound, beseeching Thee by that exceeding pain and by the crushing burden of Thy heavy Cross, to be merciful to me, a sinner, to forgive me all my mortal and venial sins and to lead me on towards Heaven along the Way of Thy Cross. Amen."

Devotions with a promise of Salvation

Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary

-“Jesus wants to use you to make me known and loved. He wants to establish the devotion to my Immaculate Heart in the world. I promise salvation to those who embrace it, and their souls will be loved by God as flowers placed by me before His throne.” (Our Lady of Fatima, 1917)

The Rosary

The Fifteen Promises of Mary to Christians Who Recite the Rosary (Given to St. Dominic and Blessed Alan)

·        Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall receive signal graces.

·        I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the Rosary.

·        The Rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

·        It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the hearts of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

·        The soul which recommends itself to me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish.

·        Whoever shall recite the Rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not perish by an unprovided death; if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.

·        Whoever shall have a true devotion for the Rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.

·        Those who are faithful to recite the Rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plentitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.

·        I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the Rosary.

·        The faithful children of the Rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in heaven.

·        You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the Rosary.

·        All those who propagate the holy Rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

·        I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the Rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.

·        All who recite the Rosary are my sons, and brothers of my only Son Jesus Christ.

·        Devotion of my Rosary is a great sign of predestination.

A Promise of Salvation

The Rosary. St Louis de Montford promises “If you say the rosary faithfully until death, I do assure you that, in spite of the gravity of your sins you shall receive a never fading crown of glory. Even if you are on the bring of damnation, even if you have one foot in hell, even if you have sold your soul to the devil as sorcerors do who practice black magic, and even if you are a heretic as obstinate as a devil, sooner or later you will be converted as will amend your life and save your soul, if – and mark well what I say – you say the Holy Rosary devoutly every day until death for the purpose of knowing the truth and obtaining contrition and pardon for your sins.”

The first Saturday’s devotion to the Immaculate Heart

“God wants to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate heart. I promise salvation to those who embrace it, and these souls will be loved by God, like flowers placed by me to adorn His throne”…"I promise to help at the hour of death, with the graces needed for salvation, whoever on the First Saturday of five consecutive months shall:

·        Confess [can be done within 8 days] and Receive Holy Communion.

·        Recite five decades of the Holy Rosary.

·        Keep me company for fifteen minutes while meditating on the fifteen mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me."

(Our Lady of Fatima 1917)

The 3 Hail Marys Devotion (for purity)

One of the greatest means of salvation and one of the surest signs of predestination, is unquestionably, the devotion to the Most Blessed Virgin. All the holy doctors of the Church are unanimous in saying with St. Alphonsus of Liguori: "A devout servant of Mary shall never perish." The chief thing is to persevere faithfully till death in this devotion. Numerous examples show how agreeable the three Hail Marys Devotion is to the Divine Mother and what special graces it draws, during life and at the hour of death, on those who never omit it for a single day.  This practice was revealed to St. Melchtilde (13th century) while she was beseeching Our Blessed Mother to assist her in her hour of death. Our Lady appeared to her and said: "I will, certainly. But I also want you to say three special Hail Marys to me every day. "The first will be in honor of God the Father, Whose omnipotence raised my soul so high above every other creature that after God I have the greatest power in heaven and on earth. In the hour of your death I will use that power of God the Father to keep any hostile power far from you.  "The second Hail Mary will be said in honor of the Son of God Who communicated His inscrutable wisdom to me. In the hour of your death I will fill your soul with the light of that wisdom so that all the darkness of ignorance and error will be dispelled.  "The third Hail Mary will be in honor of God the Holy Ghost Who filled my soul with the sweetness of His love and tenderness and mercy. In your last hour I will then change the bitterness of death into divine sweetness and delight."  Our Blessed Mother also revealed to St. Gertrude the Great: "To any soul who faithfully prays the Three Hail Marys, I will appear at the hour of death in a splendor so extraordinary that it will fill the soul with heavenly consolation."  St. Leonard of Port Maurice, the celebrated missionary, had the Three Hail Marys recited morning and evening in honor of Mary Immaculate, to obtain the grace of avoiding all mortal sins during the day or night; moreover he promised in a special manner eternal salvation to all those who proved constantly faithful to this practice. He gave this devotion of Three Hail Marys as a penance in the confessional, especially for those who were struggling with sins of impurity.  Practice: Recite morning and evening, three Hail Marys in honor of the three great privileges bestowed upon Our Blessed Mother by the most Blessed Trinity with this invocation at the end: for the morning: "O my Mother preserve me from mortal sin during this day." For the evening: "O my Mother preserve me from mortal sin during this night."  (Pope St. Pius X gave his Apostolic Blessing to this practice and the devotion was raised to an Archconfraternity by Pope Benedict XV.)

The first Friday’s devotion to the Sacred Heart

·        They shall find in My  Heart an assured refuge during life and especially at the hour of death

·        The all-powerful love of My Heart will grant to those who shall receive Communion on the First Friday of nine consecutive months the grace of final repentance (salvation); they shall not die under my displeasure, nor without receiving the sacraments; My heart shall be their assured refuge at that last hour

The Divine Mercy Devotion

As revealed to St. Marie Faustina by Our Dear Savior. Many wonderful graces are available through this devotion. One example: "those who venerate this picture (Divine Mercy portrait) shall not perish." To take advantage of this magnificent promise we need to place the picture in our home where we will see it often showing love and respect for His image for what it represents saying often the prayer: "Jesus, I trust in Thee." Our Lord said to St. Faustina “Souls who spread the honour of My Mercy I shield through their entire life as a tender mother her infant, and at the hour of death, I will not be a Judge for them, but the Merciful Saviour Promise of a guaranteed plenary indulgence (i.e. forgiveness of all of one’s sins and straightening of all self-love): Divine Mercy Sunday Feast – Our Lord said to St Faustina – “The soul that will go to confession on the Feast and receive Holy communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment…let no soul fear to draw near to me, even though its sins be scarlet.” (Our Lord also recommends the novena 9 days before the feast, adoration of the image and a work of mercy be done towards someone). Divine Mercy: “At three o’ clock implore My Mercy especially for sinners, and, if only for a brief moment, immerse yourself in My passion, particularly in My abandonment at the moment of agony. This is the hour of great mercy for the whole world….In this hour I will refuse nothing to the soul that makes a request of me in virtue of My passion…In this hour you can obtain everything for yourself and for others for the asking, it was the hour of grace for the whole world, mercy triumphed over justice…Oh what great graces I will grant to souls who will recite the chaplet…By means of it you can ask and obtain anything, if what you ask will be compatible with my will”

The Two Divine Promises

The Two Divine Promises are a powerful devotion relying on God's Mercy which originated with revelations in Poland in 1954 and which spread worldwide. Our Divine Savior revealed these Two Divine Promises: "Each priest who worthily offers the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass for thirty consecutive days and, in addition, makes the Stations of the Cross daily will receive for himself and another soul selected by him, the assurance of Eternal Salvation." "Likewise, each individual who will receive Holy Communion worthily for thirty consecutive days and will recite the Our Father and Hail Mary for the welfare of the Catholic Church, will receive for himself and one other soul selected by him, the assurance of Eternal Salvation."

15 Prayers of St Bridget

Our Lord said to St Bridget "I received 5480 blows on My Body. If you wish to honor them in some way, say 15 Our Fathers and 15 Hail Marys with the following Prayers (which He taught her) for a whole year. When the year is up, you will have honored each one of My Wounds." Our Lord made the following promises to anyone who recited the 15 St. Bridget Prayers every day for a whole year:

1)I will deliver 15 souls of his lineage from Purgatory.

2)15 souls of his lineage wil1 be conf irmed and preserved in grace.

3)15 sinners of his lineage will be converted.

4)Whoever recites these Prayers will attain the first degree of perfection.

5)15 days before his death I will give him My Precious Body in order that he may escape eternal starvation; I will give him My Precious Blood to drink lest he thirst eternally.

6)15 days before his death he will feel a deep contrition for all his sins and will have a perfect knowledge of them.

7)1 will place before him the sign of My Victorious Cross for his help and defense against the attacks of his enemies.

8)Before his death I shall come with My Dearest Beloved Mother.

9)I shall graciously receive his soul, and will lead it into eternal joys.

10) And having led it there I shall give him a special draught from the fountain of My Deity, something I will not for those who have not recited My Prayers.

11) Let it be known that whoever may have been living in a state of mortal sin for 30 years, but who will recite devoutly, or have the intention to recite these Prayers, the Lord will forgive him all his sins.

12) I shall protect him from strong temptations.

13) I shall preserve and guard his 5 senses.

14) I shall preserve him from a sudden death.

15) His soul will be delivered from eternal death.

16) He will obtain all he asks for from God and the Blessed Virgin.

17) If he has lived all his life doing his own will and he is to die the next day, his life will be prolonged.

18) Every time one recites these Prayers he gains 100 days indulgence.

19) He is assured of being joined to the supreme Choir of Angels.

20) Whoever teaches these Prayers to another, will have continuous joy and merit which will endure eternally.

21) There where these Prayers are being said or will be said in the future God is present with His grace.

Prayer to St. Joseph For a Good Life and a Happy Death

O Glorious St. Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin, obtain for me a pure, humble and charitable mind and perfect resignation to the Divine Will. Be my guide, father, and model through life, that I may merit to die as thou didst die, in the arms of Jesus and Mary. Amen.

Prayer To Jesus, Agonising on the Mount of Olives

“O Jesus, through the abundance of Thy love, and in order to overcome our hardheartedness, Thou pourest out torrents of Thy graces over those who reflect on Thy most Sacred Sorrow in the Garden of Gethsemane, and who spread devotion to Thee.  I pray Thee, move my soul and my heart to think often, at least once a day, of Thy most bitter Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane, in order to communicate with Thee and to be united with Thee as closely as possible. O blessed Jesus, Thou, who carried the immense burden of our sins that night, and atoned for them fully; grant me the most perfect gift of complete repentant love over my numerous sins, for which Thou didst sweat blood. O blessed Jesus, for the sake of Thy most bitter struggle in the Garden of Gethsemane, grant me final victory over all temptations, especially over those to which I am most subject. O suffering Jesus, for the sake of Thy inscrutable and indescribable agonies, during that night of betrayal, and of Thy bitterest anguish of mind, enlighten me, so that I may recognize and fulfill Thy will; grant that I may ponder continually on Thy heart-wrenching struggle and on how Thou didst emerge victoriously, in order to fulfill, not Thy will, but the will of Thy Father. Be Thou blessed, O Jesus, for all Thy sighs on that holy night; and for the tears which Thou didst shed for us. Be Thou blessed, O Jesus, for Thy sweat of blood and the terrible agony, which Thou didst suffer lovingly in coldest abandonment and in inscrutable loneliness. Be Thou blessed, O sweetest Jesus, filled with immeasurable bitterness, for the prayer which flowed in trembling agony from Thy Heart, so truly human and divine. Eternal Father, I offer Thee all the past, present, and future Masses together with the blood of Christ shed in agony in the Garden of Sorrow at Gethsemane. Most Holy Trinity, grant that the knowledge, and thereby the love, of the agony of Jesus on the Mount of Olives will spread throughout the whole world. Grant, O Jesus, that all who look lovingly at Thee on the Cross, will also remember Thy immense Suffering on the Mount of Olives, that they will follow Thy example, learn to pray devoutly and fight victoriously, so that, one day, they may be able to Glorify Thee eternally in Heaven. Amen.

Continue to offer Masses for myself, conversion of poor sinners, relief of suffering souls in purgatory [all the dead in my life], reparations for sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and Consecration of Russia to her Immaculate Heart, Final repentance of dying sinners, whoever stands in the greater need.

4. The suffering souls

-Offer up all suffrages for them

-Offer up all Mass consecration and communions for them

-Pray the perpetual daily novenas, St Gertrude prayers, Divine Mercy prayer, de profundis and stations of the cross for them

…and they will pray you are spared purgatory yourself!

Plenary Indulgenced prayers

Prayer before a Crucifix

“Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus,

while before Your face I humbly kneel and,

with burning soul,

pray and beseech You

to fix deep in my heart lively sentiments

of faith, hope and charity;

true contrition for my sins,

and a firm purpose of amendment.

While I contemplate,

with great love and tender pity,

Your five most precious wounds,

pondering over them within me

and calling to mind the words which David,

Your prophet, said of You, my Jesus:

"They have pierced My hands and My feet,

they have numbered all My bones."

Amen.

Obtains a plenary indulgence when recited after receiving daily communion before any representation of Our Lord crucified, with contrite heart, detachment from all venial sin, and said after confession, and saying prayers for the Pope’s intentions!

The Seven Joys of Our Lady, (The Seraphic Rosary, Franciscan Crown)

·                    The Immaculate Virgin Mary joyfully exhibited Jesus to the adoration of the Magi

·                    The Immaculate Virgin Mary joyfully found Jesus in the Temple

·                    The Immaculate Virgin Mary was joyfully received by Jesus into heaven and crowned Queen of Heaven

·                    Add two Hail Mary’s for the 72 years of the life of Mary

Public recitation of the Rosary

Obtains a plenary indulgence after being unattached to venial sin, praying for the sovereign pontiff, confession and communicating. Our Lady’s Promises to those who pray the rosary:-

·        The rosary shall be a powerful armour against hell

·        The Soul that recommends itself to me by the recitation of the rosary, shall not perish

·        God will not chastise him in His justice, He shall not perish by an un-provided death, if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life

·        I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the rosary

·        Devotion to my rosary is a great sign of predestination

*Always make a perfect act of contrition before praying for a plenary indulgence in case you don’t live to get to confession*
