Biographical Information: Described as a maidservant of Mary Queen of Hearts
and a disciple of St. Louis-Marie de Montford, Emma Curotte’s mission began in 1930,
in Chertsey near Montreal, Canada after allegedly receiving apparitions of the
Blessed Virgin Mary. Since then her trustees have dedicated the beautiful
mountain based property she left them with the founding of the Sanctuary of
Mary Queen of Hearts (Marie-Reine-des-Coeurs) of Chertsey, Canada in 1961. A
popular movement of Marian devotion has grown out of this and in August 1993
the Sanctuary was designated as a Marian Centre by Mgr Gilles Lussier, Bishop
of Joliette. The site is run by a team
of religious and layfolk belonging to the Work of the Holy Apostles.
The Messages

Our
Lady, undated, 1932: Efficacious
prayer to Mary Queen of our Hearts given to the seer: “O Mary Queen of
our Hearts, advocate of the most hopeless cases; Mother so pure, so
compassionate, Mother of Divine Love and full of Divine Light, I place in thy
tender hands the favors which I ask of Thee today. Behold our miseries, our
hearts, our tears, our interior trials and sufferings! We know that Thou canst
hear us through the merits of Thy Divine Son Jesus Christ. We promise, if we
are heard, to spread Thy Glory, and to make Thee known under the title of Mary
Queen of our Hearts and Queen of the entire universe. We beseech Thee to grant
us our requests, at Thy Altar, where each day Thou givest such manifold proofs
of Thy power and Love for the health of the soul and body. We shall hope
against all hope, O Mary Queen our Queen, ask of Jesus our cure, our pardon and
our final perseverance. O Mary Queen of our heats, cure us, we have confidence
in Thee.(Repeat 3 times). Recite this prayer for nine consecutive days, go to
confession and receive Holy Communion.” IMPRIMATUR: P.J. Monahan Archbishop of
Regina June 9 th. 1942.
