Biographical Information: The apparition of the Blessed Virgin was to retired railroad worker Joseph Reinholtz of Hillside, Illinois. Joseph, a widower, suffered from blurred vision and occasional blindness. Joseph visited the Marian apparition site in Medjugorje, Bosnia Herzogovina. Upon returning home his sight gradually returned to normal. He visited Medjugorje again and met with one of the visionaries there called Vicka. Vicka instructed Joseph to look for a large crucifix next to a three branched tree when he returned home, and that Joseph should pray there. Joseph found the crucifix at Queen of Heaven cemetery and prayed at the site for two years. On August 15th, 1990 the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to him there at this site. On November 1st 1990 Our Lady appeared to him with Michael the Archangel and three other angels. Supposedly the apparitions were a daily event except on Tuesdays. Jesus is supposed to accompany Mary on feast days, and Saint Joseph has also been seen. Soon, word of the visitations leaked out and thousands of people began flocking to the cross. It wasn't long before complaints about the number of spectators caused the cemetery officials to move the cross to another location in 1992. It is very accessible now, having a paved parking lot next to it.Pilgrims still visit the site daily where prayers and the Joyful Mysteries of the holy rosary are offered up for the clergy and the church. Some of the phenomena reported there is Our Lady and strange lights appearing in photos taken at the site. Also this crucifix was photographed bleeding. Other phenomena includes Rosaries turning to gold and the scent of roses reported in the area. While Joseph is allowed to speak publicly about his experiences the Catholic Church does not recognize this as an official apparition site and as is customarily their practice they discourage people from visiting.Cemetery officials allow the pilgrims to come and pray at the site. Sadly, Joseph Reinholtz suffered a stroke in February 1995 and was hospitalized, where Mary continued to visit him. He passed away in December 1996, but his legacy remains in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, where a crucifix stands and where those who believe still experience miraculous visitations.¹ Joseph died on December 18, 1996

Why do so many of you defect from your orders and the priesthood in general. I tell you now, once you are a priest of my Son, you are a priest for life. You who leave your parish and your orders, condemn our children to the wolves. My priests, do not leave them behind. Remember, you are my Son's representatives, His shepherds upon earth. Pastors, why do you not pray your Rosaries more often? Have you forgotten the graces enclosed in these beads of prayer? Still there are some blessed and dear to our hearts who do pray these beads, I have given to you all. Promote the Rosary in your churches, the Church of my Son. My children of the world, those who listen to me now, I have begged for prayer so many times, and now many heed my call. Pray always my children in never-ceasing prayer. When you can't pray, or have not enough concentration, or think you are too busy say: "My Jesus I love you, help me in my life." He will hear your prayer and he will bless you for it. You have not taught my children right. My Pastors, you have not taught any longer of the fires which exist within the afterlife plan of Purgatory. Many no longer believe these places of afterlife. Sadly, because many of those who are among you all, do not believe. They are sinning in many ways, thinking that they will not be punished for their sins. Many, or most of these, will end it all in hell for their non-repentance for their sins. You are a suitable link in saving souls, my child. There are many who do not believe in you. Many of them are trying now to stop your assistants from sending out my messages to the world, but they are not evil, just because of this, no, they are only confused as to the truth. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, you are coming on the road of a great chastisement. Man has set fast the pace of his own destruction. Out in the world, beyond the farthest star visible to man's eyes, is an instrument planned by the Father for your chastisement. Pray, pray my children. Keep a constant vigilance of prayer now, until the moment of darkness. I have wandered throughout the world for countless earth years warning and preparing you for the chastisement. I have a list of the kinds of sins for which you must make restitution, for the sins that all people are committing this day: infamy, blasphemy, immodesty, worship of false idols, disrespect of authority, infidelity in family, disrespectful dress, rewriting of the words of the prophets, arrogance of the men of God, intellectual pride among the men of God, lack of the true vocations, and lastly, chastity. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. Dear children, there must be a sacred mission for all of the priesthood and sacredness for the nuns. Yet, why are many marrying? They were supposed to remain chaste. The nuns were to be the brides of Christ. The priests were to be ambassadors in carrying on the duty of Jesus upon earth. They were supposed to recommit the sacrifice of Jesus at every Mass. They appear chaste, but many are no longer pure. And chastity again in the married state...many have abandoned this for the pleasures of the flesh. Damnation follows this course for all. My children, you are all depressed at this time, but worry thou not. Do not commit what you were believing you would want to commit, for it is Satan who has tempted your heart. You must not stop the messages. They will go through the world, because I believe in you, my children. Many shall receive the gift of discernment of spirits. It is necessary now for in this fight, the battle against the spirits. It is necessary that you see against the unseen forces of the supernatural, a force of your own. Oh, priests of the world, oh, lay people of the world, nuns of the world, listen now for I am warning you of what will happen in the future if you do not turn back now and realize the truth. Your nation once blessed in the truth has become despoiled. I have placed my mantle of blue over your nation, but much of your nation now has fallen. My children, I come to you now with a broken heart. I come to you with a heart of a mother, a mother who is sad for how many children I have lost, and you wonder why I cry great tears. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, I ask you to continue to help the refugees of the war in foreign nations. I speak of the children -- children who are homeless, father and motherless. I speak of the children in Africa, Lebanon, Yugoslavia and other such war-torn countries. The parents are killed by shelling and by other means, and the children escape, but to where do they escape? I tell you they escape to hunger, starvation, famine and more war. Can you now stand before my torn, bleeding heart and say to me now, that you -- O mothers, fathers, sons, and daughters of America, that you cannot share but a small portion of your small wealth? If your nation would but try the wish of the Father, instead of rebelling and living in luxury while your brother and sisters starve, you would find peace in the world. Remember, I told you all in the past, war is a punishment for man's sins. I have been giving these messages before but you are not listening. Begin to understand my messages. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, there are too many errors in the Church of today. Your angels of your churches have not reported good activities to the Father of heaven. St. Michael's Prayer must be returned after Mass. The holy hours are made by too few, but they are blessed who make them. The Rosary must be allowed for recitation in your churches, or those churches will fall and crack from within, spiritually, not physically. When any guild honoring my name is rebuked, calumniated, or chastised for something done or said justly, these groups shall be doubly blessed. When you tell only the complete truth and no lies, as well as not withholding any truth, and are not believed, a ray of grace shall come and fall upon you. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, I now tell you of the knowledge of Satan, some of which is permitted. Remember he too was an angelic warrior of one time. Then he was cast from the choir of archangels for his arrogance. Satan carries great knowledge of the sins of each and every person, but only those which have not been confessed. Satan will attempt to tempt a person who has sinned and he knows he has under his evil wings. But he will try to tempt more a person who is in the state of grace. He will work his hardest against the person in the state of grace. Do not think that you are free from this temptation, for all will be tempted. As the medals of my Immaculate Conception, the Miraculous Medal, and the St. Benedict are the most powerful medals, after the cloth of the Brown Scapular, are being hammered and tested within the fires of hell by Satan. St Michael speaking: My children, will all of you kindly recite my prayer for the benefit of those who do not know it, and have it restored at the end of each Mass? The St. Michael Prayer: St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly Host, by the divine power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. The soul who daily recites my Rosary, all fifteen decades -- I will, one day before his or her death, come to that soul and embrace that soul in my arms. This soul will also have thus a chance for Confession and a last communion before death. You must all love your neighbors and all mankind as brothers and sisters. This I tell you all, for hatred is a tool of Satan for getting inside of a soul. Many, too many, souls have fallen to Satan through hatred of another of their fellow mankind. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, I ask this of you, all on the earth. My children, tell all the peoples of the earth to recite at least five decades of the Rosary a day. Tell all that only through Jesus and me may one obtain heaven. Through me Jesus came to earth, and through me must come His reign. Accept my love with faith and charity. Tell the world of my goodness to all mankind. All must wear the brown scapular and say the Rosary. Do not be afraid to approach me with many requests for favors. Some I will grant. Console me often with good works and by going to give honor to my Son at church. Make me a place to dwell within your hearts, minds, and souls. I wish to dwell with you. Work with me to form the salvation of at least a soul every day. Honor me by the name of Our Lady of All Holy Titles. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, many of you do not understand Satan's role which is being played among men. I assure you, my children, you must not cast aside the supernatural, for I told you in the past, and again I repeat it anew that Satan now is loosed from hell. He is walking the earth. He is going about now searching for an abode. Any man, woman, or child of conscionable age can be his abode. Satan is one person, but there are many of his followers. Satan has a great knowledge. He has control of nature. Understand, my children, you must not test him. While man has cast aside the knowledge and belief in the supernatural, Satan and his demons have had the time now to take a firm hold upon your children. Pray, my children, for your brothers and sisters for many are fast falling into hell. Satan is a murderer, and that, my children, should be his greatest vantage point. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. Dear children, I, your mother, have appeared to many in all parts of the world and have shown unto them many visions of the near and coming future. I have made myself known and present in many nations and countries on your earth. All my messages and visions pertain to a general area, but are for some other areas as well. My dear children, if mankind would stop the mass murders going on in Yugoslavia and other parts of the world, then a time of peace would be granted through the Father to the world. Your country seeks to be the peacekeeper in your world. You are told very little of the actual thinking of your government in your nation toward the wars on the foreign battlefields. Pray constantly a vigil of prayer. Pray that the effect of these foreign wars does not increase. Many are dying, and those who do not will not be able to lead a normal life anymore due to the rigors of war. The angel of death is among you. Should you not all pray much now? Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. Sin has become a way of life for many of you. Come out of the darkness. The number counted saved will be in the few. Coming soon is the ball of redemption, and how many will burn in its great flame. What was to happen in the future shall be now. The Father now leaves this decision upon His children. The fullest measure of responsibility in plans for the condemnation upon all is with parents who do not safeguard the souls of their children entrusted in their care. I see an uncaring and permissive attitude on the part of many parents. I am the Queen of heaven and the Mother of all upon earth. I am a mediatrix between God and a mediatrix between man. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My dear children, the central message of Fatima can be understood by everyone, even children: the absolute need for conversion and the need for a life of prayer. These two fundamental truths contained in the word of God are necessary for personal salvation and happiness as well as for the salvation and happiness of all humanity. Pray so as not to enter temptation. Change your hearts and your lives so that your sins be forgiven. Be tenacious and vigilant in prayer to change your hearts and your lives (conversion) and to live a life of prayer. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. I tell you, my children, conversion from sin is rooted in Christ's death on the Cross. He offered himself in sacrifice in order to save us from sin, original and personal, from Satan's attempts to draw us into his rebellion from God, and ultimately, from eternal loss in hell. Apart from my Son, Jesus Christ, His Cross and sanctifying grace, each of us would be lost in this world and in the next. God loves us so much that in Christ He offers every human being the grace of conversion. Although grace is offered to all, each individual must personally accept the gift and make it his own. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, I tell you precisely how to make the reparation you owe. You are to confess your sins, go to Mass, and receive Holy Communion. Pray the Rosary, and meditate for fifteen minutes on the Rosary Mysteries. Participate in public devotion and private devotion, active prayer and contemplative prayer. Even as sin distances you from my Son, the reparation I ask is to draw you closer to my Son, Jesus. Even as your sin diminishes your spiritual strength, my proposed reparation will build it up again. The reparation that I, Mary, ask is not to my profit but to yours. This is a mother's way and brings joy to my heart. I ask that you do this for five, consecutive, first Saturdays, more modest than the nine first Fridays requested by my Son, Jesus. In fact, while five are minimal, you, poor sinners, will find that you cannot stop there. You keep on sinning in ways, little if not great, and so you have to keep offering reparation. If you have learned your lesson about being just and making reparation, you will probably be observing the first Saturdays of each month for the rest of your lives. Each time, perhaps, learning a little more about justice; each time, perhaps, healing not only the offense done to me, your Mother, and the pain caused me, but healing your own wounds of sin. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. Although virtually unknown a few years ago, this movement is gaining in popularity on an international level. On the surface, it appears to be a peace movement, but in my estimation, it definitely belongs to the occult. This is because it presents some basic characteristics that are identified with the occult, even though Satan is not mentioned. For example, the god of the New Age is not the God of Christianity and Judaism. The New Age god is more like an impersonal energy of force of which the whole universe consists. This is a form of pantheism. For us God is Creator and Lord of all. We are His creatures. In the New Age, Jesus becomes one of the many spiritual masters who discovered his higher self. It is believed that in the New Age, we can also be enlightened, and this through our own efforts, not through revelation and the grace of God. The New Age movement is sometimes called a peace movement. Somehow, it is said that when we have become a part of this harmonic convergence we can bring to bear a mighty power that is beyond ourselves for achieving world peace. But when we talk of any power that is not from God, and beyond ourselves we are really talking about the occult. Do not be deceived by the talk about ecology, the beauty of nature in the world and the fundamental goodness of the apparent goals of this movement. Those who join the New Age movement are entering a movement and are dealing with the occult spiritual power. It is not a spiritual power which comes from God, but from the kingdom of false light and darkness. I am the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, sometimes people pray to God and to the saints and then go off seeking relief through the kingdom of darkness. Many times God does not heal through prayers, because He wants the soul to be healed first of hatred, jealousy, or some other sin. God knows what He is doing. We have to choose either the power of God or the power of evil. The sacrament of reconciliation and the Eucharist are very special weapons that Jesus gave to His Church to overcome the kingdom of sin and darkness. I am the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. Dear children, I want you to form islands of holiness in a sinful world. I need souls who will go all out to answer my pleas for amendment of life, prayer, reparation, the sacrifice of fidelity to daily duty, the imitation of my virtues and the virtues of my Son through the daily recitation of the Rosary, the wearing of the brown scapular as a sign of consecration to my Immaculate Heart, and the first Saturday devotion. There is still time. I do not know how much. Everything depends on those who have heard and listened to my messages. You must do more. You must respond still more generously to my plea for prayer and penance. You must sacrifice more for those who have not heard, or who have turned away. Each of you have a great responsibility. The Rosary has saved the world before. Fasting can change the course of world events. God wills to save the world by bringing everyone to believe in Jesus and to surrender to His law of love. Just as I brought Jesus to you in the mysteries of Fatima, I continue to lead you to Him through the Fatima message. Let us embrace with new fervor my plan of peace. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My dear children, the Rosary is the embodiment of the important events in the life of Jesus and I, your Mother, the Mother of God. Our love for you did not end when we went to heaven. This prayer is a constant reminder of our love for you. The Rosary is a spiritual oasis always ready to refresh you when you thirst for consolation and strength. When you meditate on its mysteries, you inflame the light of faith which fosters the desire and hope of attaining the knowledge and love of God, the only thing that can truly satisfy each and everyone of you. Remember you should become encouraged to ask God for the graces you need in spite of your faults and littleness. Heaven so loves the Rosary that it is the solution. Nearly everyone had lost faith in Him, yet I stood as close to Him as possible and in my pure heart continued to believe the promise made to me by God through Gabriel on the day of the Annunciation. The Lord God will give Him the throne of His ancestor David. He will rule over the house of Jacob forever, and His reign will have no end. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. The foundation of conversion is faith in the word of God. Conversion always involves a movement against sin and its roots and a movement of the will towards God in love. As a person grows in grace, these acts become more intense. We have three great helps that foster our conversion to the Lord Jesus: examination of conscience, frequent reception of the sacrament of penance, and true devotion to me, the Mother of God. Conversion demands a frequent pondering of the word of God. The more the believer looks into the mind and heart of Christ, the more he will be convicted of sin and acknowledge his desperate need for grace. It has long been recommended -- the daily examination of conscience. It is worthwhile to recite the ten commandments each evening and examine one's thoughts, words and actions of the day in the light of Christ's example. Without frequent Confession, conversion is impossible. For the person who has committed a mortal sin, Confession is absolutely necessary for salvation. How strange that people in our day go for weeks, months and even years bearing the awful weight of unconfessed mortal sins. Many seem to have lost the dread of dying in the state of mortal sin. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. I, your mother, am pleading for this. I am not concerned for myself. I only want you, my children, to learn to act properly and to develop a sense of gratitude. Reparation is a basic human good. It flows from a sense of justice, if not love, and it instills these virtues in you. If you examine yourselves, you will find that you are fairly weak in your sense of reparation. Even when you say you are sorry, you are often slow to make amends. This is most true in your response to my Son, Jesus. Yet, you know that when you truly love someone, and you hurt that person, you are most eager to do whatever you can to make up. I, your mother, want all of you to be truly and happily just. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after justice. So I, as your mother, seek to put you through your paces. You have indeed inflicted pain on me, your mother, in so far as you have done this to my Son, Jesus, by your sins. For you He hung on Calvary's hill after living all His life for you. All the sorrow I bore at His side was for you. You have plenty for which to make reparation: your every sin, and above all your insensitivity and ingratitude to His love. I am the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, during my apparitions at Fatima, I, your mother, revealed many things to the three courageous, shepherd children -- Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta. I told them that there would come wars of unimaginable destruction, persecutions of the Church, the spread of atheism, and that the Holy Father would suffer intensely. But by far the most frightening thing I revealed to them was the horrific vision of hell. I indicated to them that souls were falling into hell by the thousands. How many souls are in the most serious peril at the present time. In your daily lives you all seem to have contact with individuals who have separated themselves from the Church and the sacraments. These persons are often members of your own families and among your oldest friends. I see this as indicative of the pervasiveness of the deplorable loss of faith which has become a sign of our times. How many souls might still be spared the terrible judgment which is to come if only more people would pray and do penance according to my urgent requests. My children, in reciting the Rosary it is not a matter of repeating formulas, but rather of entering into confidential conversation with me, your mother; of speaking to me, telling me of one's hopes; confiding to me one's sorrows, opening one's heart to me; telling me of one's readiness to accept God's plans; promising fidelity to me in every situation, especially in the most difficult and sorrowful ones; to secure in my protection and to be convinced that I will obtain from my Son, Jesus, all the graces necessary for your salvation. Reciting the Holy Rosary you contemplate Christ from a privileged perspective -- that of your mother, His mother. You meditate on the mysteries of my Son's life, passion and resurrection with the eyes and heart of me, your mother, who was closest to my Son. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, do you know what evangelization is? It is taking the Jesus who is in our hearts and placing Him in the hearts of others. To do that you need the material, spiritual principle given to Catholics through their devotion to me, your Blessed Mother. By my example, I, the Mother of God, will show you that one of my purposes in life was to beget Jesus in others. This means making the birth of God's life, love and salvation a reality in a person. Through my prayers and faith I, your mother, make that possible in my own experience. My example and faith will create that material, spiritual principle, that capacity to bring about the birth of Christ in others, in each of you. When you are devoted to me on a daily basis, you will acquire the spiritual, material principle that will make you evangelizers. At Fatima I upheld the Wise Star of the Epiphany against the Red Star of the Anti-God in Eastern Europe. I did not call for armies of preachers. I summoned legions of fasters and prayers. I knew that you needed an evangelization that was closer to exorcism than to reasonable persuasion, military intervention, or fiery preaching. We were dealing with a demon that needed expulsion by prayer and fasting. I am the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, share the gift of your faith with others. Everything you possess is a blessing from God and is to be shared. Everything! The most fundamental, supernatural gift that He gave you, on which all the other gifts depend, is your faith. This is no option. It is an obligation. On the last day you shall be judged on your practice of charity by meeting other people's needs. What is the deepest need of the human heart? The most ravenous hunger, the most agonizing thirst, is for the truth that you undeservedly have received from God. You are obliged to share it. You are to communicate this faith in every conceivable way that one created spirit can affect another. Your conversation should be a channel of believing grace to everyone with whom you speak. Jesus warns you that you shall be held responsible for every idle word you speak. What an opportunity you have not to idle away your words in conversation, but to use them to bring others closer to God. I am the Queen of Peace.

God uses humble people to give other people humility. God uses chaste people to give others the grace of chastity. God uses patient people to give others the virtue of patience. Live your Catholic faith, and God will work wonders of conversion through you. The most important power that you have been given by God is your free will, and the most important use to which you can put your free will is to want to pray. You must believe that Jesus Christ whom your mother conceived at Nazareth and gave birth to in Bethlehem is now present on earth in the Holy Eucharist. He is really here to answer your apostolate prayers. I am the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, remember the power to walk God's ways and find His peace, the power to turn from selfishness and sin, and the power to forgive those you want to love. All this power is a gift of God, not a natural endowment of your nature. Jesus Christ touching you in His sacraments is the one who heals you and gives you His mighty Spirit to give grace and joy to your lives. Nothing substitutes for the sacraments. In them the Lord personally touches your lives and heals you. The sacrament of Penance is the sacrament of Peace and of Freedom. Those who receive it regularly with faith and with reverent trust in God's saving power experience this deeply. If you have drifted away from frequent Confession, nothing will replace coming again to the Lord in this healing sacrament. This each one must taste and experience personally. A war broke out in heaven. I, St. Michael, and my angels battled against the dragon. Although the dragon and his angels fought back, they were overpowered and lost their place in heaven. The huge dragon, the ancient serpent known as the devil or Satan, the seducer of the whole world, was driven out. He was hurled down to earth and his minions with him. Pride and disobedience have been the ultimate cause of evil in the world ever since. Therefore, if you are going to combat the devil, you must utilize the contrasting virtues, humility and obedience, to the highest degree.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, you still have a long way to go and I, your mother, am counting on you. If you answer my Fatima plea and help to spread my devotion now, you'll be recognized on that very special day when you meet me in heaven. This thought gives meaning to life. Your goal is to one day dwell in the house of the Lord forever. How better attain that goal than to spend your allotted time on earth preparing for it. And remember, no one goes to heaven alone. To get there, you must help others to be saved too. How? By prayer, sacrifice, and by apostolic work. I, your mother, came to Fatima, and I begged all Christians to make reparation for their personal sins and for the sins of the world. I have asked you, along with the Lord Himself, for reparation on the first Saturday of each month. I offer a reward for this devotion. I will personally assist you at the hour of your death. In the Garden of Gethsemane when my Son, Jesus, was abandoned by His apostles, and He prayed all alone, My Son, Jesus, cried out to them, "Could you not watch one hour with me?" It is by praying your Rosary that you see the need to examine your weaknesses and receive the graces to live a life of love -- a love for Jesus in the tabernacle and a love for poor sinners as Venerable Jacinta and Francisco Marto of Fatima had. Conversion is the very first response that we make to this loving message which I your mother, the Lady of the Rosary, gave you at Fatima. I am the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. Dear children, these are difficult days. I too knew difficult days. I pray night and day for you. If a person prays, I will bless him and lead him away from fear and turn his mind to me and give him hope. Faith and trust in me are the road to happiness. Pray my children. Only divine help can solve human problems. I am very much aware of the confusion of mind and chaos of spirit in the world. I grieve because of what de-spiritualizes, de-humanizes. It is faith that makes a person alive, but many have abandoned faith. They ignore me. When one does not pray or prays only with a half heart, his mind is elsewhere. He has a hard time thinking straight. I will put an end to confusion and lack of love when people humbly get down on their knees and sincerely petition heaven for help. To dispose with faithful prayer is spiritual suicide. I am the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, pride and disobedience have been the ultimate cause of evil in the world ever since Adam and Eve. Therefore, if we are going to combat the devil, we must utilize the contrasting virtues of humility and obedience to the highest degree. Because our society is so secularized today, the devil enjoys a field day. So many people are searching for answers to the problems of the day but do not know God. Therefore, they are ready to embrace anything that will bring power, influence, or peace and tranquility. Because a secularized society seeks solutions only in the realm of science or nature, God is totally ignored. Ignored, too, are the traditional means of countering the effects of the devil: discipline and sacrifice. Listen to my son, Jesus, what He had to say to His disciples when they were not able to cast out the devil. When approached by Jesus, His comment was about how faithless were the people of His time, and then proceeded to exorcise the demon from a boy. The disciples came and asked, "Why could we not drive it out?" He said to them, "Because of your little faith." If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain move. Nothing will be impossible for you. This kind of demon can only come out through prayer and fasting. Look around. You will not find the primary activity of the devil in the occasional possessions, oppression, or obsession. These are mere skirmishes to divert everyone's attention from the really serious attempts by the evil one to destroy God's people. We need to recognize the true battlefields for people's souls. My children, Confession leads us to the kinds of acts that make hearts repentant -- to remember honestly before the good Lord how frail we are so that we can trust in His mercy with greater determination. Confession requires us to make serious resolutions in our hearts not to offend those we love, to forgive those who hurt us, and to do those things our life needs, but the world does not incline us to do. Confession creates personal friendship with Christ. In this sacrament He personally touches our lives. We speak to Him, and He makes us realize, as we seek more faithfully to receive the sacrament well, how deeply concerned He is to bless our lives with grace and healing. When the priest speaks words of absolution, our faith knows that it is the Lord who now personally speaks mercy and does mighty and merciful deeds in our lives. He enables us to see through the deceptive images woven by the media world, to begin to realize the really important things of life. He enables us to trust His power, to see that it is not impossible or saddening to keep His commandments and to walk in His ways. The return to the sacrament of penance does not mean a return to a shallow routine of Confessions without thoughtful reflection or to sacraments received without realizing how near the Lord is to every corner of our lives. For each one of us, it is important that we seek out and find a good confessor and learn again, as the Church urges us, to confess our sins with faithful frequency. Penance is the sacrament of peace and freedom. I am the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, so I tell you now again: pray, pray, pray -- pray hard with all your hearts. Love, for not only yourself, but for thy brothers and sisters as well. Go back and reread all warnings given throughout your world. Pastors, do not stop your flock from reading these warnings for they were given for them. Why, O Pastors, do you not allow my messages to my children to be given to them? I will tell you the answer. It is because of fear and because of pride. You are afraid of anything you cannot see or comprehend. Your pride is hurt because many of you are not central figures in your Church. You are afraid to see a seer lead crowds twice as large as you can obtain yourself in prayer. Your pride has caused you to sin. My Pastors, turn back now before it is too late. Many of my shrines have not been truthfully investigated. Many of the messages from these shrines which were truthfully investigated and found true have never been read by many Catholics in your world. The children -- what do you teach them in their classes throughout the world? You teach them of loving their brother and sister and their God, but what of the teachings of the Bible? What of my messages and my Son's? If you want a good nation, if you want a peaceful world, and you wish to hold back war, then teach the children of these things and more than that, how to pray. For each one who hears this will have heard my urgent message. You will pray, my little children. Pray, pray, and pray hard. I am the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, what is man if the very Son of God and likewise true Man took upon Himself the sins of all human beings and bore them as Man of Sorrows, as Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world on the altar of the Cross? What is man, the Psalmists wonder in the face of the mysterious greatness of human beings as they appear in the work of creation, becomes even greater in the contemplation of the work of redemption. Dearest brothers and sisters, the dwelling of God with human beings reached its culmination in Christ. He is the New Jerusalem of all human beings and peoples, since in Him all have been chosen for eternal destinies in God. He is also the beginning of God's eternal kingdom in human history, and this kingdom in Him and through Him is the definitive reality of heaven and earth. Bearing witness to it is the Cross of Golgotha, which is the Cross of our redemption. On the Cross stands revealed all human history, which is at the same time the history of sin and suffering. It is marked by tears and death as the Book of Revelation notes: how many tears in human eyes, how much grief and mourning, how much human weariness and at the end of earthly existence -- death! Is it not the truth of the whole of history? Does this truth not find particular confirmation in our age now coming to a close along with the second millennium of history after Christ? The Cross of Christ continually gives witness to it; but only it -- this Cross of Christ persists throughout human history as a sign of the certainty of redemption. Through the Cross of His son, God repeats from generation to generation His truth about Creation. See, I make all things new. The former heaven and the former earth continue to pass away. In their presence Christ remains defenseless, despoiled of everything in mortal torment. Son of Man, crucify Him, and yet, He remains the sign of our certainty that life will triumph. Through His death the invincible power of new life has been sown in the earth. His death is the principle of resurrection. I am the Queen of Peace.

My children, with a heart deeply moved and marvelling before God's creative and salvific plan to bring about the fullness to which He has called us, I, like each of you, a pilgrim of this New Jerusalem, exhort you, dear brothers and sisters, to accept the grace and the call which we feel more palpable and penetrating in this place, in the sense of bringing our ways into line with God's ways. I greet you all, beloved pilgrims of Our Lady of Fatima, Medugorje, and Queen of Heaven Cemetery, present here physically or spiritually. The Shrine of Fatima and Queen of Heaven Cemetery is a privileged place, endowed with a special value. It has an important message for the age which we have been given to live in. It is as though here in the beginning of our century the words pronounced on Golgotha had resounded with a new echo. I, your Mother who was standing alongside the Cross of my Son had to accept the will of Christ, the Son of God, once more. However, on Golgotha my Son pointed to a single man, John, His beloved disciple, whereas here I had to accept everyone, all of you, the human beings of this century and its difficult and dramatic history. For the second time I stand before you in this shrine to kiss your hands because you stood firm by this Cross of my Son, Jesus, which is the Cross of all human history and of our own century as well. You stood and continue to stand keeping watch with a mother's thousand cares. You stand here and will remain here because the only-begotten Son of God, my Son, entrusted to me all human beings when, as He was dying on the Cross, He brought us into the new principle that exists. Praise Jesus, Praise Jesus. Today I am calling upon all of my spiritual children to become a great force of prayer and reparation in the world. And by the grace of God, I, your Mother, have given you a most powerful weapon with which to fight in this great battle: the holy Rosary. The Rosary is an effective instrument of God's mercy. It is the weapon we will employ perserveringly and confidently to bring about the conversion of sinners, the conversion of nations, the unification of Christian peoples and the lasting peace which will come with the glorious triumph of my Immaculate Heart. The Rosary is a lifeline that God holds out to sinners today -- a lifeline to draw sinners back to the life of grace through the healing effects of the sacraments. For the great spiritual battle of our time, God has given us a great weapon, a great sign, a truly wonderful mother. I, your Mother, the Queen of heaven, the Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, the Refuge of Sinners, the Woman Clothed with the Sun, will lead my spiritual children to ultimate salvation and decisive victory over Satan and the forces of darkness and into the heavenly Kingdom of my divine Son. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, I, your Mother, ask for sacrifice, penance and prayer as a solution to the many problems with which the world is faced. I, your Mother, specifically ask for the daily recitation of the Rosary and the five First Saturdays of Reparation. The Fatima message is a clear and simple one, whose very simplicity sometimes evokes disdain from the educated. When we look at the complexity of the world's problems, we are overcome by them, because we know we cannot solve them. However, nothing is impossible for God. What is difficult for us is simple for Him. We can only pause in wonder at the kindness and mercy of a God who loves us so much that He sends I, your Mother, to warn us, counsel us, and give us a simple remedy with which to amend our lives, repair the damage we've done and extricate ourselves from the quagmire of sin. It is time for us to stand up and be counted in the spirit of evangelization by helping to spread the message of Fatima which was given to us by our Lord, Jesus, through I, your Holy Mother. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, I, your Mother, at Fatima reminded all Catholics that souls are saved through their holiness of life. In this way the grace of conversion is offered to those alienated from God by sin. I have urged all to do the following out of love for sinners. Accept the daily dying to self demanded by the faithful observance of God's commandments. Be faithful to daily duties. I, your Mother, indicated at Fatima that fidelity to daily duty is very pleasing to God and a powerful means of bringing spiritual good into the world. This fidelity demands regularity which is itself a great sacrifice for most people. Embrace and even love the uniquely personal cross that God permits in your life. Perform acts of voluntary mortification, self-denial motivated by the desire to lead others to eternal life. We have come to the Cross to understand the value of sacrifice. How pleasing it is to God and how, on account of it, God grants the grace of conversion to sinners. The Father seeing the sacrifice of Jesus renewed in your personal sacrifices offers the grace of conversion to people whom you will never know in this life. However, you will be greeted by them in heaven. You will also meet all those who through their prayers and sacrifices helped you to eternal salvation. The brown scapular of your Mother of Mount Carmel is a constant reminder to you that you must undertake sacrifices daily to make reparation for your own sins and to obtain the grace of conversion for those who are far from the Lord. I am the Queen of Peace and I send my blessings to all of you.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, rejoice, rejoice. I bring you news of joy, today. Jesus and I, your Mother, are with you to bless you and comfort you. Christmas is a special time to think of the spiritual roots of peace. The angels caroled of peace to men of good will. Ultimately, it is only a spiritual army which can overcome the forces which destroy good will in men and which open the hearts of those who do not have good will to the prince of darkness. Light has come into the world, but much of the world remains in darkness. We have Emmanuel but innocents are still slaughtered, so God has sent me, your Mother, to stimulate good will. I urge each of you to unite your hearts with my Immaculate Heart in order that the Prince of Peace, who came through me, may reign. For this, we have much to do. Christmas is not just a time for joy in the birth of Jesus. It is also a time for a renewed sense of responsibility. He gives Himself to us, but like me, your Mother, you are called to help give Him to the world, and this is the bottom line of what I came to Fatima to say: "Peace on earth." Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, Christ loves us so that He wills to live in us and in a sense to relive His sufferings and death in us. In other words, whenever a Christian suffers and offers His suffering in union with Christ to the Father for the salvation of others, Jesus' saving power flows into the world and becomes effective in peoples' lives. Every Christian is called to be a co-worker of Jesus in the world today. I, your Mother of Fatima, highlight this scriptural teaching. Each Christian is indeed able to save people from the fires of hell. We are capable of helping others to grow in Christian charity and thereby to establish in the world Christ's civilization of love. The Christian is Christ's co-worker by living in the state of sanctifying grace. He becomes an apostle not only by engaging in apostolic works such as teaching catechism, evangelizing from door to door, visiting the sick and the dying, etc., but also by simply accepting and seriously living up to the demands of the spiritual life. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, the result of the Bethlehem happening was that henceforth mankind would have to make a choice between the light and darkness. Fatima calls for a choice to repent or to face the darkness of a great chastisement, and yet for countless Catholics, Fatima is just a word that has a familiar ring. They have heard it vaguely for so many years, but it carries no weight with them. They have been drawn into the vortex of worldly thinking and living like so many mindless sheep. Years of watching and imbibing amoral and immoral television fare, of reading promiscuous books and magazines, of seeing films filled with passion and violence, of following blindly the fashions that I, your Mother, said would greatly offend God, and of accepting the moral standards of the world have robbed so many of the concept of right and wrong. For many, television has completely changed their values and taken away their sense of sin. God and religion have faded away to such an extent that many have begun to doubt everything they once held by faith. The world and everything it has to offer takes precedence over the thought of the life to come. I am your Mother, the Mother of God. When my pleas go unheard and unheeded by those who should be helping to save the world, you must repent. I am the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, Satan has sung his victory because he has brought sin into souls and division into families, into society, into nations themselves and between nations. This place has never been so threatened as in your days. You are beginning this new year under the grave threat of a conflict which could become the spark for the outbreak of the terrible third world war. Pray, beloved children, and do penance, because you have now entered into the time of the great chastisement which the Lord will send, and do not let yourselves be seized by fear or discouragement. Have great confidence in the powerful work of intercession and of mediation of your heavenly Mother. The great suffering which awaits you is to prepare you for the birth of the new era which is coming upon the world. Live this new year in my Immaculate Heart. It is the refuge which I have prepared for you for these times burdened with suffering for individuals and for nations, and so, you will not be afraid. Your suffering will increase with the increase of the trial which has already begun. I am the announcement of the new era. In the deep darkness of this your time, if you live with me, you can already glimpse the glimmer of the new times which are awaiting you. Look to this light and live in peace of heart and hope. If you remain always in my Immaculate Heart, my beloved ones and children consecrated to me, even as of these moments you can begin the new era of holiness and of grace, of light and of purity, of love and of peace. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, my heart is afflicted with great pain by the situation in which the Church here finds itself. It is interiorly divided. It is threatened with the loss of the true faith. Many errors are being spread about within it. The cause of this situation is the pastors who are no longer united with the Pope. Their only concern is exclusively directed toward social problems, and they forget that Jesus died on the Cross and rose again to obtain for you the great gift of redemption and to save souls. And thus, the teaching of the theology of liberation, which is a true betrayal of Christ and of His Gospel, is becoming more and more widespread. Bishops and priests of the holy Church of God, return to full union with the Pope. Return to the teaching of the truth which Jesus has revealed to you with courage and fidelity. Preach the Gospel in its integrity and take care of the flock which has been entrusted to you. Schism and apostasy are menacing today the Church which lives in this nation of yours. My heart is pained by the great danger into which your homeland is running, because of the spread of violence and hatred, of evil and of immorality. In the name of a false way of understanding liberty, even the gravest moral disorders are today being permitted and justified. Impurity is exalted and spread about through the social means of communication, and thus a veil of darkness has descended to blind the souls of many of my children. If there is not a general return to the Lord, along the road of conversion and repentance, a great chastisement can quickly strike this country of yours. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

RESISTING TEMPTATIONS Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, as long as we live in this world, we cannot be without tribulation and temptation. Hence, it is written in Job: "The life of man upon earth is a temptation." Therefore, ought everyone to be solicitous about his temptations and to watch in prayer, lest the devil, who never sleeps, but "goeth about seeking whom he may devour" find room to deceive him. No man is so perfect and holy as not to have temptations sometimes. And we cannot be wholly without them. Yet temptations are often very profitable to a man although they be troublesome and grievous for in them a man is humbled and purified. All the saints have passed through many tribulations and temptations and have profited by them, and they who could not support temptations have become reprobates and fallen away. There is no order so holy, nor place so retired, where there are not temptations and adversities. A man is never entirely secure from temptations as long as he lives because you have within you the source of temptation, having been born in concupiscence. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children at Fatima I the Mother of God reminded you that wars are a consequence of sin. As a remedy, I asked first of all for amendment of life --conversion from offending the Lord God, who is already too much offended as is recounted in the Gospel. Graces or favors are not automatically given by God -- we must ask for them. I, your Mother showed you the best way of asking for peace: by praying the daily Rosary. Finally, for the love of God we must repair the damage of sin, our personal sins and the sins of others and of nations, by reparation. I, your Mother revealed two means of reparation. The first is offering sacrifices to God, especially those demanded by fulfilling the daily duties of our state in life. The second, The First Saturday Devotion, makes reparation especially for the sins committed against my Immaculate Heart. Now is the opportune time to familiarize others with my Fatima message and to encourage family and friends to pray the daily Rosary for Peace. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, at Fatima God chose me your Mother as his messenger to remind us of our eternal destiny, to call our attention to the truths of our Faith, and to warn us that we are wandering from the path of salvation. Throughout history God has used as messengers both angels and ordinary men. At Fatima, his messenger was a woman who is higher than the angels, the saints, and all created people. I am the first person after the Blessed Trinity. Should you not be paying strict attention to what I have told you? Fatima calls us to conversion and repentance as does Holy Scripture. Some feel that devotion to me your Mother takes something away from Jesus. From the moment of my "yes" to the angel Gabriel at the Annunciation, I, your Mother have always gently led you to Jesus. At Fatima I came to tell you what Jesus wants. Because of First Saturdays, people all over the world are going to Confession and communion monthly and reciting the Rosary. First Saturdays have led to Eucharistic adoration and Benediction. Can there be a better formula for reparation, conversion and renewal? The time has come for all the faithful to become aware of the validity and necessity of listening to the word of God through your Mother Mary at Fatima and facilitating through its application the establishment of devotion in the world to my Immaculate Heart. This will be the only way to peace. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, Fatima events have been taking place for nearly seventy-five years now. Unfortunately, many have not meditated on Fatima in depth, and without prayer, don't understand the prophecy of these times. Some who speak only of gloom and doom, against which the pope cautioned us, do not encourage priestly and religious vocations. Rather they hinder youth from remaining true to Catholicism and from entering into marriages that are truly holy. Claiming to be an elite kind of Catholic who preserves the past, they hinder others from growing into the future and recognizing the true face of Catholicism. Remember our faith is found in "Good News". If I could, and I know you can, you would shout it from the housetops the world over: "Jesus Christ lives today in his One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church." His priesthood is the greatest vocation, privilege and profound duty on earth. Good Catholic families are miniature mystical bodies. Carry your crosses, confident of the triumph of Jesus Christ over evil. Here in authentic Catholicism you find Jesus Christ in the fullness of true faith. Be happy, rejoice, praise the working of the Holy Spirit through the Fatima message in today's world. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, the emphasis of Fatima on world peace has been so strong that perhaps not enough recognition has been given to the fact that the Fatima message also contains the solution to many other problems which face humanity today, problems which are often closer to home and permeate the society in which we live. You all have seen, in the light of recent events, the beginning of the fulfillment of my promise that Russia would be converted. You also have seen the mercy and kindness of God in the collapse of Communism. Those of you who are devoted to the Fatima message now must feel uplifted and even more confident that your efforts will be rewarded, as I predicted, by the conversion of sinners. The Fatima message is within the reach of every Catholic person. I your Mother Mary have asked you to pray the Rosary every day, to be faithful to your daily duty and to observe the Five First Saturdays of Reparation. This is the remedy for sin. You must see how effective my remedy is. Now that we are witnessing the collapse of Communism and the restoration of the Church in the Soviet Union we must intensify our First Saturday efforts for the salvation of the entire world. When I your Mother ask you to cooperate with me, I am giving you such a precious privilege. You know that God can do all things and doesn't need your help to better the world, but in His kindness and mercy He allows you an opportunity to help Him in His work. Surely this is an opportunity and privilege too good to miss. Let every devotee of Jesus and I your Mother Mary do his or her bit to help bring First Saturdays to every parish in the United States. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

I know of your frailty and your needs; and as a mother, I extend my hands to support your faltering steps on the road that leads to salvation: the road of prayer, which is the way to our encounter with God. Consequently, I have taught you to say at the end of each decade, "O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of thy mercy." It is to be understood that this refers to souls in greater danger of damnation. By insisting on the Rosary I, your Mother, indicate the great need we have of prayer to obtain the grace of peace among nations and peoples in families and homes, and above all, peace of conscience and reconciliation of souls with God. Only divine light, strength and grace, penetrating our hearts and souls, can lead us to sincere and mutual understanding, consideration and assistance. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, do not be afraid because I am with you even when you think there is no way out and that Satan is in control. Not being afraid means to be deepened in the spiritual life. Many Christians these days live in fear; those who don't know God. That fear is a sign that you are not rooted in God. The deep spiritual life does not exist within you. I, your Mother, once said Satan wants to bring confusion, and if you become easily confused, it means that you have not yet deepened your personal contact with God. When it comes to confusion, you must understand what it means to have love and peace and reconciliation, because it should always be clear to you, that we should love and forgive, but if you don't have the depth of spiritual life, this can happen and this happens very often. [confusion]. You can hear this sentence from many Christians: "I don't love. I don't want to forgive." This is the deep confusion that comes from Satan, because it is not true that you cannot forgive, because God wants to give you the grace to love and forgive. But again, you must pray for that grace, so the feelings that you might have that there is no way out and that Satan is in control, they are false. Satan wins a great deal if he makes you think there is no way out and you remain in sin, because he's the one who gains from the fact that you don't move, that you don't develop the positive things. If Satan wins then you remain destroyed personally and the families and the whole world. This is why I, your Mother, will say again and again -- do not be afraid. I am with you. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

My children, I ask each of you to unite with me as I accompany my Son, Jesus, with His apostles and disciples to Mount Olivet, and talk with them about the Kingdom of God; and to rejoice in Christ's presence and love, and to pray in union with Jesus' friends as they ascend the mountains to hear my Son say, "Go make disciples of all nations." Then I, your Mother, realize my Son, Jesus, must return to His Father. Then I begin to ponder my Son Jesus' words, "Within a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit." I begin to kneel to receive my Son's final blessing. Then I watch Him disappear into the clouds as He ascends into heaven. Then I, your Mother, return to Jerusalem to pray and await the fulfillment of my Son's promise. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, on Pentecost Sunday, among the phenomenal occurrences were the great wind, the Holy Spirit's appearance in the form of tongues of fire and the ability of the apostles to be understood by people of various languages. Another was the growth of the Church in spite of bloody persecutions. It is this same Holy Spirit that inspires each of you today with great joy and hope for the Church. We know that in spite of the things that are happening within the Church and the persecution from without, the Holy Spirit is the One Who will preserve the Church from error and keep Her alive and well. Never will the Church succumb to the terrible things that are threatening Her in the world of today. The Holy Spirit of truth will be with Her until the end of time. This was my Son Jesus' parting promise to all of us. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, denial of sin is an offense against God. It is only logical that where the existence of God is ignored, the fact of sin as an offense against God is denied. No other explanation is possible for the massive denial of the rights of God in commanding His creatures to do His will. Abortion is the murder of unborn infants, and therefore the denial of the most basic right of a human being to remain alive. But abortion is mainly the denial of the rights of the Creator to create human souls and keep them united with the body until He calls a person into eternity. But adultery is mainly the denial of the rights of God, Who wants marriage to be the human reflection of His own infinite loving community in the Holy Trinity.

My message at Fatima was that we must repent. Repentance for the sin of denying sin is obedience to the will of God. Whenever we sin, we indulge our own will in opposition to the divine will. To repent we must bend our will to God's will. This is the hardest task we have to do on earth. This kind of repentance by obedience must begin with ourselves. We who have the true faith must merit the graces that others need, to be converted in obedience to the divine majesty. We must give the example to others of what it means to be humble by obeying the will of God in our lives so that others may see our obedience and be converted from their evil ways. We must pay the heavy price of bending the knees of our self-will to the demanding will of God's providence. Why? So that God may be merciful to a sinful world and bring it back to moral sanity. We must teach others by word and example, individually and collectively, that sin is not a figment of the imagination; that sin is the root of all the evils in the world; that wars and suicides, drug addiction and broken hearts and broken minds are really the consequences of sin. We must tell everyone who is willing to listen and even those who are not willing to listen, and even those who are not willing to hear it, that unless they repent, they will all likewise perish. We must restore faith in the justice of God, even as we glorify the love of God in a world that is steeped in self-idolatry. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, we live today in a secular society. For the most part there is freedom to believe in God and to worship Him, but there is also an attitude that says, "Who cares?" Many people go to church even weekly as a social obligation. Many send their children to religious education, but they merely go through the motions of church membership without ever truly professing the faith. Worldly values confuse them and they frequently fall victim to the many snares of the devil. Lack of faith means that people will not reject programs for themselves or their children that are based on pagan practices, Eastern religions of dubious value and New Age thinking. Anything and everything is viewed as all right if a significant number of people say so. The dangers of mind control and manipulation are not understood and so the dangers that can be inflicted on members of society by them are not perceived either. The faith we speak of here is not merely religious faith. Natural faith as well as supernatural faith is at risk here. Personal faith, community faith and national faith (also called patriotism) are aspects of natural faith. Notice how many factors affect our faith and why there is such a lack of faith in people today, especially in our youth. So many young people do not feel good about themselves. They are constantly bickering with others. They sense no future for themselves, and many turn for answers to drugs, alcohol, and some will give up altogether and commit suicide. There is no personal faith here. Our natural faith is destroyed when a person's word is no longer valid. How many people today consider it of little consequence to be true to their word. With so many aspects of the virtue of faith in disarray it is no wonder that there is a lack of spiritual faith. We must be on guard to counter the things that undermine and destroy faith. Prayer and fasting are, of course, special elements to accomplish these goals. Be sure not to just pray but to make sure all members understand the prayer and the wide range of reasons we pray. Ask the intercession and the help of St. Michael the Archangel. Though this prayer is no longer said after Mass, it was never suppressed as a prayer. I ask you to use the St. Michael prayer often. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, many sons and daughters have been saved from the power of sin and loss of faith through the perseverance of their parents in the saying of the holy Rosary. When we are living in the Kingdom of Light, in the state of sanctifying grace, we should simply reject all fear and place our confidence in God and also in your Mother, the Mother of God. Again however, there is the difficulty of defining sin in our present age. We have to define sin according to the Gospel and the official teaching of our Church as it has been handed down by the Church's Magisterium, and not define it by the viewpoint of the modern age which has been contaminated. Many people live in sin and have false peace, because their conscience has been formed not by the Gospel, but by the spirit of this age. They may be leading very respectable lives, be law-abiding citizens, and in the estimation of people leading good lives. But if they are not living according to the Ten Commandments, the Gospel, and the moral teaching of the Church, even in just one area that concerns serious sin, they are probably living in the Kingdom of Darkness. The Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Eucharist, as well as all of the sacraments, are very special weapons that my Son, Jesus, gave to His Church to overcome the kingdom of sin and darkness. We need to use these sacraments as Jesus meant them to be used, and have no fear of the enemy. If one has a heavy problem in this regard, I suggest daily Mass and Communion. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, Jesus founded His Church to be the salt of the earth. Heretofore, and especially today, the influence of the Church in the orientation of scientific knowledge and the arts, in the formation of human mentality and values, in establishing a Godward direction to human habits and even in the spreading of the Gospel, has been reduced to almost absolute zero. The so-called crisis of faith has spread to all quarters of Catholic life and to all peoples, dragging them into the path of eternal damnation, while the heroic efforts of many a Catholic missionary have gained him or her a high place in heaven. It must also be admitted that the apparent failure of the Gospel in replacing the bad habits of men with a Christian conduct, and in eliminating those forces that take great pleasure in legislating against the institution of Jesus, creating an impossibility for the Church to discharge its Christ-given mission among the nations causes us a great concern for the future well-being of mankind. Man can do whatever he wants, but he must pay a price for whatever he does. Legislation worldwide has succeeded in putting an end to Catholic education in many places. This facilitated the destruction of the Christian family in the liberalization of divorce and by legalizing the crime of abortion which carries the penalty of excommunication. The proliferation of pornography as a means to sexual permissiveness, the establishment of a pervasive sex education and the total elimination of almighty God from society are of deep concern. What can one expect but the education of criminals for society at large? We need miracles in our lives. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Note: June 15, 1993, Joseph asked Our Lady if she would take him to Purgatory. Three or four weeks prior to 8-15-93, Our Lady told him it would be soon. Our Lady appeared to Joseph at his home on 8-15-93 at 3:00 A.M. At that time, she took him to purgatory. His observations and Our Lady's comments follow. Purgatory is an endless area. However, you do not see the people in purgatory. You can see a grey area, dark like ashes, a somewhat very misty area. I can feel the reaction of how the people there are begging and twitching for help. Our Lady said for us as much as we can to pray for them. They need our prayers in purgatory so they can enter the Kingdom of heaven. Our Lady said many thousands of souls enter into purgatory each day and most of them remain for many years. They are here through their own fault because they did not live the Ten Commandments of God. The justice of God keeps a person in purgatory. It's in three different levels depending how severe the punishment is, and many deserve being there in this place of expiation, which means satisfaction, reparation, to atone, to make amends for their sins. Then the soul must go through a purifying stage before one can enter the Kingdom of heaven. My experience in purgatory is to see this great suffering that these people are going through. I would like to tell you it is horrible as I see it.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, conversion from sin is rooted in Christ's death on the Cross. He offered Himself in sacrifice in order to save us from sin, original and personal, from Satan's attempts to draw us into his rebellion from God and ultimately from eternal loss in hell. Apart from Jesus Christ, His Cross and sanctifying grace, each of us would be lost both in this world and in the next. The Church rejoices in the assertion that there is no salvation in anyone else, for there is no other name in the whole world given to men by which we are to be saved. God loves our race so much that in Jesus He offers every human being the grace of conversion. Although grace is offered to all, each individual must personally accept the gift and make it his own. For the adult, grace is received through faith and baptism. Those who are fortunate enough to be baptized as infants receive my Son's grace long before they are conscious of it. Faith, hope and charity, planted in the soul at baptism, are then nurtured by the example and instruction received at home and in the parish community. Through grace a person believes the Word of God and consents to do all the Word commands. Grace elicits an act of the intellect, that is, assent to the revealed word and a twofold movement of the will: a movement against sin in all its forms and a movement towards God in love. Conversion is a lifelong project. The first step involves the rejection, often painful, of mortal sin. Sin is addictive and makes its way into your lives, so to speak, on horseback and leaves slowly, reluctantly, and on foot. Then comes the rooting out of venial sin and all attachment to sin. Finally the Christian seeks to imitate Christ's poverty (detachment from material things), chastity and obedience to the will of the Father. To the degree that the Christian freely practices these evangelical counsels according to his state in life, obstacles are removed to the perfection of charity. Don't attempt this on your own. Seek the help of an experienced priest. Voluntary self-denial, penance, mortification etc., is necessary if one is to attain that mastery of self, necessary to keep the Commandments and practice charity. The message of Fatima urges us to practice voluntary penance not only for our own sins but in reparation for the sins of others. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, in this sinful and broken world there is much mortal sin. People, even Catholics, do commit horrible crimes: abortion, adultery and terrible crimes with the power of money and the cruelty of drugs. But there are also mortal sins of a less spectacular kind: lustful deeds deliberately undertaken and deliberate lustful desires to which this fallen world leads one. Ordinary people sometimes do hateful and cruel deeds. They are surprised at themselves for falling into these things, especially if they stop receiving the Sacrament of Penance regularly, which gives them the power they need to keep from sin. If we have committed mortal sin, Catholic faith teaches that the only ordinary way to escape the tragic separation from Christ that mortal sin means is by a good Confession. Even perfect contrition does not help, if we do not accompany our sorrow by a willingness to do what my Son Jesus requires: to get promptly to Confession, and to confess and receive from my Son Jesus (through His priest) the absolving words of forgiveness. We who have the gift of Catholic faith possess in the Sacrament of Reconciliation a great personal gift of my Son Jesus. This is the best way of coming back to grace, and this is the one way we have to get back to grace, as all Catholic Tradition insists rightly. There are rare exceptions: when Confession is impossible for us, God makes other ways possible. But Confession is the only ordinary way. Those who have sinned mortally after Baptism must go to Confession if they wish to come back to the Lord in the Eucharist. The frequent use of Confession is in many ways the safeguard of love and peace. We must not lose the sense of sin or we will rationalize all our selfishness and wrongness of heart. But it is also true that we must not focus too much on sin or we will become bitter and harsh. What we need to do is to remember our sins in the very sacrament of healing in which my Son Jesus touches us with mercy. Here my Son Jesus teaches us to turn sorrow into love and our own being healed into the forgiving of others. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

My dear children, I feel sorry for so many men and women today who live as if they had no Father in heaven, no intercessors of whom the greatest is Jesus Christ and no Holy Spirit who is always ready to enlighten, comfort, console, guide and inspire faith and confidence as well as love for God and neighbor. Children most naturally ask for things from their parents and thereby virtually confess their dependence on them. How is it possible for us children of God, especially when we have been adopted by God as sons of God, not to ask for the things which God knows to be good for us for time and for eternity? When this is done in the proper spirit, we realize that in this way is an acknowledgement of our dependence on God and the necessity of being submissive to Him. If they only knew how powerful are the intercessions of those who are weakened by illness, who are as helpless as my Son Jesus when He was nailed to the Cross and there gave the perfect example of intercession in intention, in words, in vicarious satisfaction for the sins of men. Learn from Mother Church, a teacher at all times, what are the principal things for which to pray frequently and habitually. This will at the same time, be a true joy for you. For when done in the right spirit, intercessory prayer is charitable giving, and as my Son Jesus said, "There is more happiness in giving than receiving." I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Avoid worldly idle talk, for those who indulge in it become more and more Godless, and the influence of their talk will spread like the plague. There will be terrible times in the last days. The time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but following their own desires, will surround themselves with teachers who tickle their ears. As we say in professing it, my Son Jesus was manifested in the flesh, vindicated in the spirit, seen by the angels. Jesus preached among the Gentiles, believed in throughout the world, taken up into glory. Train yourselves for the life of piety. For while physical training is to some extent valuable, the discipline of religion is incalculably more so, with its promise of life here and hereafter. You know the answer with respect to your own behavior and what you would like to suggest to others. Keep up the practice of daily devout, humble, confident prayer. You know how much prayer your particular work permits. You can work prayerfully doing everything for God. Perhaps you can say at least part of the Rosary everyday. Read lives of the Saints, of course. Read meditatively short texts in Holy Scripture, particularly in the New Testament. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, so I repeat, it is a good thing for you to deal with the subject of the relationships and relations between human beings and the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. But you did well in emphasizing that what God wants is for his rational creatures who dwell upon the earth to come ever nearer to Him. The way for them to do this is through the many means put at their disposal for that purpose, such as prayer, the Sacraments, and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass to mention just a few of them. As I said at the beginning, relations existed from all eternity. They exist in absolute perfection in the Holy Trinity. We creatures are necessarily related to our Creator to Whom we owe our natural human life. But God in His unbelievable goodness wants to establish something supernatural, that is above-nature relations and relationships between us human beings and God. In the natural order, all men are related to millions, to billions of things. They are related to sun, moon and stars, to things of earth, to fellowmen, and above all, to God Who wants all to enjoy His presence, His beauty, His life and share in His blessedness forever. What a sad thing it is that so many human beings today want to break off all relations with God and hence with eternal life with God, and make men be content with a short life of relationships with men and with perishable earthly things. What a folly to try to make men enthusiastic about what is limited in time and space! How is it possible that some modern men, supposedly intelligent, reject relations with the supreme value, God, with the Divine Savior, with the Church which is appointed to help people to reach eternal family life with God? They thereby make people content with purely earthly, temporal relations and relationships. When Satan tempted our first parents, he did not propose to them to disobey God and thereby to be satisfied with a merely temporal earthly existence. He told them they would be like gods, something above their nature and something everlasting. Call for the Holy Spirit. What is the best thing we can do in the face of the spread of Godless doctrines as well as the degeneration of religion in several countries and the propagation of errors on all sides? How can we stem the tide of evil and error in the lives of those around us as well as in our own lives? I ask you all to pray, pray, and pray. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, many say they love me, but at best give me only an hour a week, and of these, many attend Mass with minds absent, and many more will not do even that. They think they are Christians. They say they are Christ-followers, but are they? If you had a friend and hardly ever visited him, would you be a friend? I ask my Son Jesus, to save us from our foolishness. We think we are mature, but we are very childish and unthinking. People must help themselves, so that I can help them. They must pray so the inspired words of the Gospel pass from the printed page into their souls. I said, many people are restless for they know not what. They are restless because they do not know me. The soul hungers for me. But people ignore this yearning and then they wonder why they are discontented. Too many are so immersed in the things they can see that the unseen world seems unreal to them. How true! Even a person who says a Rosary a day is looked upon as a religious fanatic. If people possess me, they possess all. It is prayer that brings my blessings. Prayer gives light and grace to humans living sterile, chaotic lives. Prayers put an end to inner confusion and flood the soul with peace. Pray, prayer is the answer. Prayer is the only solution to problems. It always has been. It is today. Look at the lives of my saints. Prayer was the predominant theme in all their lives as it was in mine. I wish to teach you how to pray. I wish to be your support. Keep me close. I wish to hold you in my loving arms. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, today is the Solemnity of Christmas. The eyes of our soul see the child laid in the manger. This child being wrapped in swaddling clothes and laid in a manger. This helpless human child and at the same time, the power which transcends all that man is, all that he can accomplish. For man cannot become like God through his own efforts as history has made clear from the beginning and yet, man can become like God through God's own power. This power is in the Son, the Eternal Word, who "became flesh and dwelt among us." Today is the first day of his sojourn in our midst. He was in the world and was made through Him, yet the world knew Him not. He came to His own home but His own people received Him not. But to all who received, He gave power to become children of God who were born of God. History continues on its way: countless men, women and children, nations, peoples, languages, races, cultures, millions upon millions, yet He is unique, laid now as a child in the manger. "There was no room at the inn," and later upon the Cross. He and none other, and then risen -- He and none other. How many have received Him not? How many still receive Him not? Indeed, He has sent you His word to tell us of them, to tell us that by taking the road we are taking, we are racing towards self-destruction. The world longs for peace yet everyday our brothers and sisters are dying in the present conflicts. They are dying in fratricidal struggles for supremacy: racial, ideological, economic. They are dying because of senseless and reckless courses of action. The world longs for reconciliation, yet everyday thousands of refugees are abandoned and rejected. Ethnic and religious minorities go neglected in their basic needs. Whole groups are kept on the margins of society in ever-growing isolation. The world longs for balance, both within and without, yet everyday the environment becomes more and more polluted for reasons of self-interest or from lack of concern. Brothers and sisters, come to the crib of the helpless Child, Who is the power of God. He is born for us, come... and you will see... and you will be received, for today there has been revealed God's goodness and His love for mankind. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, there is one more good deed he or she must perform before he or she dies. He or she must repent, repent, repent of his or her sins. What follows is a dialogue between Knowledge and Everyman. (1) Knowledge: Be no more sad but ever rejoice. God sees the living in His throne above. Put on this garment to thy benefit, which is wet with your tears, or else before God you may it miss when you to your journey's end shall come. Everyman: Gentle Knowledge, what shall you call it? Knowledge: It is the garment of sorrow from pain it will you borrow. Contrition it is that gets forgiveness. Contrition is defined by the Church as a sorrow of soul and a hatred of sin with a firm purpose of not sinning in the future. We see, therefore, that true contrition includes three elements: sorrow of soul for having offended God by choosing to do one's will instead of the divine will; detestation of sin because a person realized the evil of refusing to submit to the Creator, thus endangering one's eternal destiny; firm resolution not to commit a particular sin again and avoid what experience teaches would lead to such a sin in the future. The Catholic Church has always taught that contrition is absolutely necessary to obtain forgiveness of sin. Although it is a mystery, it is perfectly understandable. To claim that I love God and yet insist on acting contrary to His will is a contradiction. If I really love God, I want to do what pleases Him. I cannot honestly profess to serve God if I deliberately choose what I know displeases Him. Choose God, choose His will, God keeps telling us. The first preaching of my Son Jesus is described in the words, repent and believe in the Gospel. Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Reconciliation with God therefore requires repentance by the sinner, and repentance is another word for contrition. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace. (1) This dialogue is found in the medieval Christian morality play "Everyman."

February 25, 1994 2:30 A.M.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, we must respond to God's conditions to enjoy his promise of Peace in this life and everlasting joy in the life to come. We must want to repent -- we must want to pray -- we must want to forgive -- we must want to be humble -- we must want to be chaste -- we must want to believe -- we must want to trust -- we must want to love even unto death those who may not only love us, but oppose us, persecute us, indeed, even hate us. We must use our free will, that's why we have a free will -- to choose to surrender what we want in order to do what God wants. That in one single declarative sentence is the New Testament -- the new covenant -- the new contract. What is the core of the Fatima message? Love God with your whole heart and you will be happy. Refuse to obey God and you will be unhappy. Sin leads to unhappiness. Doing God's will is a precondition for peace until death and everlasting joy in heaven with God. Why is it so difficult to love the Fatima message today? Why should I the Blessed Virgin Mary have given you the Fatima message in our century? Why, in this age of world upheaval, is the church going through the most severe crisis in all her centuries of history? Why is it so important in our day to be told by your Mother Mary -- Do what my Son tells you and you will be happy? I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

March 25, 1994 2:20 A.M.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, to begin with, family life is in jeopardy. More than fifty percent of marriages fail within two years. Many children have only one recognized parent. There is violence almost everywhere among families -- parents murder their children -- children murder their parents. There is child abuse and spouse abuse. To make matters worse there are cults who believe the biblical adage: spare the rod and spoil the child. (2) I ask you to see Proverbs chapter 13, verse 24 for one example is to be taken literally, and so they reverse the saying and children are beaten into submission. Just about every segment of society has finally come to realize that the family is under assault. But no one wants to believe the cause is anything more than natural. But the intensity of these assaults indicates a truly diabolical attack: confuse family members and destroy the backbone of society. It is true that family life as we have known it over the years has changed radically. Violence is the end product of many of these changes. Even within many families with both parents present and caring for and about their children, there is seldom a daily meal wherein everyone is present. Conversation and education are therefore almost impossible. There is so much bickering, anger, and even hatred, at times in the household that it all but destroys family life. In this environment it is impossible for parents to have any significant influence with their children. It is not surprising that as soon as children reach their teens family activities are out for the most part. For all practical purposes the family is disintegrating at a rapid pace. Many things have caused this sad situation to exist; among which we can easily find materialism, greed and selfishness. I am your Mother, The Queen of Peace. (2) From the Catholic Study Bible -- New American Bible. Proverbs Chapter 13, Verse 24. "He who spares his rod hates his son but he who loves him takes care to chastise him."

In this way you will come to know and live love. It is love that is the foundation stone for peace, peace of heart, peace within, peace towards others. When you achieve peace and live, then there can be restoration, healing and unity; start, each of you, within your families. Then let this great gift flow forth from you to all people. I am your loving Mother and I am leading all my children home, and those who can believe, and it will be the transformation of your lives that will lead the unbelievers to me so they too can one day be transformed. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, do not torment yourselves in mind if you are calumniated, insulted or ridiculed. Think my child of your God, Jesus, Who walked the way of Calvary. He was the King of Kings and He was insulted, beaten, and always on the way to Calvary each passing moment more insulted, beaten, and calumniated than before. I do not say to forget these mockings, ridicule and pains of torment, but rather I say to offer them up unto the Father. It is so now with mankind that you do not wish to endure anything for my Son Jesus Who did everything to save you and Who died on the Cross for you. Always, my children, must you now offer all your pains, sorrows up unto my Son Jesus. Be humble, always act with great love and patience, gentleness and serenity. If you have a great enough love for me and my Son Jesus, you most assuredly will find the way unto the Kingdom. All my beloved children cannot understand the feeling I have for you all, the love I have for you all. I seek to give you many consolations and joys. But the Father demands that in every bed of roses must lie many thorns. The hours you all spend at the holy sites of my appearances on earth, if done in love, will be removed from your stay in the fires of purgatory. St. Michael is ever present beside me and you. Pray your Rosary every time that you find yourself being attacked by Satan, for then I will send Michael to use his sword to defend you all. Pray my children and my child for those in the prisons and concentration camps. Pray for the holy souls in purgatory. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, since the beginning of time God has spoken through His prophets to aid us on the way to salvation. At Fatima, He has intervened once again to warn us that we have gone astray and to show us how to get back on the road to salvation. First Saturday reparation is a profound yet simple solution to the ills of the world. At its very foundation are the sacraments of Confession and Holy Communion, the Holy Rosary and meditation on the life of my Son Jesus Christ. The thrust of the Fatima secret is not just the promotion of a devotion for its own sake but the encouragement of conversion, reparation, and renewal through the use of these very important and holy elements of our Faith. In Confession and Communion, we receive the grace to be good Christians -- we cannot do it without God's grace. May the power of the Holy Spirit inspire us to help spread the Fatima, Medjugorje and Queen of Heaven messages, so that every Catholic Church in the nation will participate in the observance of the First Saturday devotion. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, like young people everywhere, you want a life that is worth living. In your hearts you feel a powerful yearning for a world filled with goodness, with justice, with understanding and harmony between people and between nations. You want to live on the level of light and truth in human relations, and therefore of trust and genuine freedom. Where will you find all this? Jesus said to Andrew and John: "Come and you will see." So they went and saw and they stayed with Him. They stayed because they saw that with Jesus Christ they could aspire to what their hearts most desired. Not that Jesus offered simple solutions; on the contrary, both Andrew and John would suffer much for His sake. But their meeting with Jesus made them realize that here they had the key to their existence; here they found the deepest meaning of life. They had found the way to give the highest value to their lives. Christ fully reveals man to himself and brings to light his most high calling. His way of salvation, however, is not what we might expect from a purely human way of thinking. The crucified and risen Lord does not promise you a perfect and comfortable life in this world. If you reflect on this you will realize that even people who enjoy an abundance of earthly pleasures, possessions, and power often feel empty and unhappy. This cannot be the answer to the deepest longings of the human heart. What Jesus does promise is that His victory over sin and death can also be your victory if, in imitation of His Cross, you consent to "lose your life" together with Him; that is, to offer your life to the Father, to spend your life in love for others, even strangers, enemies and those who sin against you, to seek God's will and not your own in all things. It is only within this perspective of the total Christian vocation that you will find answers to the questions you ask about marriage and the family, or the priesthood and religious life. For in all things Christ is the pattern of Christian life and behavior. Celibacy, for example, is meant to enable the priest or religious to imitate Christ's total self giving for the sake of all. It frees a man or woman from exclusive affections of family ties in order that he or she may be totally dedicated to the service of God and of humanity. It is a special grace given to some, a sign of God's special love for those who have accepted a call to consecration or sacramental configuration with Christ. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, Jesus reigns on the Cross revealing Himself as the Shepherd Who reunited the scattered children of God as the King of the Universe. Therefore, He is worthy to receive power and riches, wisdom strength and honor. Jesus is always alone. Go to His feet at the Cross and pray to Him. He is an all-loving God. He has many favors to grant you. The soul who daily recites my Rosary, all fifteen decades-- I will one day before his or her death come to that soul and embrace that soul in my arms. Jesus founded the Catholic Church. There are those who would like to say the Church is invisible and only Christ knows who are the members of His Church. Some deny that there are external signs of membership. If this were so, how could Jesus teach until the end of time? He had to be sure the correct path to Heaven would be handed down to the peoples of all times. Today, there are so many people who claim to have Christ's message for us, and they are contradicting one another. The first question we must ask ourselves, "Did Jesus organize a Church?" The Jewish religion was temporary. It was to bridge the gap between Moses and Christ. Upon it Christ constructed Christianity. He supervised their training personally. He gave them all the necessary powers. "Go therefore and teach..... Baptize.....Whose sins you shall forgive..... Do this in memory of me..... Whatever you shall bind on earth....." In other words, He gave the Apostles a three-fold office; teaching, ruling and sanctifying. He commanded people to hear His Church, He said, "He that hears you, hears Me." He guaranteed this Church against error. People could justly demand such a guarantee if He insists that they must follow its teaching. They could very well say to Him; "All right, you tell me to belong to your Church, what guarantee will I receive that this will get me where I want to go?" Jesus' answer is, "Behold, I am with you all days;" then, "the gates of Hell shall not prevail against her." The gates of Hell, of course, are the power of evil, the power of the devil. The spirit of truth will abide with you all days. He placed St. Peter at the Head of His Church. Christ is the invisible head of His Church. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, to live the Fatima message today, we need daily miracles of grace in our lives. We need daily miracles of grace in our lives. We need miracles of light to see the truth, courage to stand firm; as well as faith, hope, and charity. Expect miracles, why not? Jesus Christ is on earth. That is what the Holy Eucharist means. What we are called upon to do is humanly impossible. We must, therefore, as a condition for survival, have access to and use supernatural means. Either we have recourse to the sources of Divine Grace available through prayer and the Sacraments, or we shall become further casualties in the war between the followers of Satan and the followers of Jesus Christ. I your Mother, request the need for constant humble prayer, and frequent reception of the sacraments and devotion to our Lord in the Holy Eucharist. I ask constant prayer, as a continual readiness to do God's will; sometimes referred to as "prayer with the heart." The New Testament is essentially a contract between God and man. In it God promises many good things, including eternal life, if we conform ourselves to His Will. In my last appearance at Fatima, and elsewhere, I don't present you with anything new. I repeat, and give emphasis to certain aspects of public revelation, especially the contractual elements of the New Testament. The core of the Fatima message is the Divine Imperative: Sin leads to unhappiness! Stop sinning! Repent! Repent of your sins, and you will enjoy God's blessings in time and in eternity. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, God's plan: I your Mother stressed the salvation of peace. I informed you of God's concern for souls and gave us His plan to save them. In essence what God said is that the evil of sin can be remedied by devotion to my immaculate heart of your Mother Mary. And this is also the best way to peace. I also made this known to each of you: that we can pray and sacrifice for sinners. I made this clear when I said; "sacrifice yourselves for sinners and say often, especially when you make some sacrifice: "Oh Jesus, it is for the love of You, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary." In other words, the prayers and sacrifices of others can be the means of the sinner's conversion. Abortion is an issue which can not readily be solved by legislation alone, because it is a moral one. But hearts can be changed; Jesus and I your Mother have told you how- by sacrifice and by prayer- especially the daily recitation of the Rosary and the 5 First Saturdays of Reparation. God has given us the solution and remedy for evil. Isn't it about time we recognize that it is also the remedy for the sin of abortion? Who has a better solution than the one given to us by God? Isn't it about time that we apply this Heaven sent remedy for all sin? For many, prayers, Rosaries, and 1st Saturday devotions all over the world has had an impact on the evils of communism which we now see disintegrating. Because of this, more people are becoming aware that the 1st Saturday Devotion is an important part of the answer to the world's problems. The world-wide effort to respond to Jesus and my request for reparation is continuing and increasing. Now that we have seen the beginning of my prediction that Russia would be converted, we need to intensify our efforts to promote the Rosary and 1st Saturdays. I know that if you do what I ask we will see other evils disintegrating as well. It is only when the rays of the sun are shining that we can clearly see the shadows; and it is only when the light of virtue abounds that evil can be rooted out. Let us put our trust in Jesus, and I your Mother Mary and do as we ask. Pray the Rosary and observe the Five First Saturdays so that by our faith and prayers, the goodness of God will permeate our lives and help us to right the wrongs that threaten our society. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, the Cross was Christ's victory. Christ had revealed the Father's mysterious plan. The Son of Man must suffer greatly and be rejected by the elders, the high priests and the scribes, and be killed and rise after three days. The announcement was so unexpected, that Peter refused to accept it. He was not able to understand the mystery of the suffering Messiah. When he had expressed his faith in Jesus, he believed in the Messiah bound for triumph and glory. Peter's protest: "Lord, no such thing will ever happen to you", is repeated again today by those who would not want suffering to be part of human destiny. Jesus clearly made His apostles understand that this type of thinking was not God's way, but man's way. The Father's plan was clear in Jesus' eyes, the path of suffering and death was necessary, and suffering had to be not only physical, but also moral, on account of the rejection by the religious leaders, the hatred of the people, the plight of the disciples. Jesus one day explained without mincing words the reason for His coming to earth. The Son of Man has come to give His life in ransom for many. Thus, the Cross was not an accident in the journey made by Jesus, but an element consciously willed for the redemption of humankind. Why such a sad fate? To free the world from sin, the Father willed that the Son take on the weight of sin's consequences. This decision makes us understand the seriousness of sin which can not be minimized, since it's consequences are so numerous. Sin as an offense against God could not be remedied except by man. God, thus: the Son Who came as a Savior offered the Father the perfect homage of reparation and love, and gained for humanity the remission of sins and the communication of Divine Light. This sacrifice occurred once and for all in human history and has the salvific value for all people of all times and places. It is the sacrifice which is renewed in every Eucharist. In the crucified Savior, we contemplate Him Who sacrificed Himself for our salvation. No one has greater love than this, than to lay down one's life for one's friend. This emulation is enlightening for all of us. It shows that love reaches its summit through suffering. Since Christ wish to associate us with His redemptive mission, we too, are called to share in His Cross. Sufferings which are not lacking in our lives are destined to be united with the one sacrifice of Christ. Born of love this sacrifice has an inexhaustible fruitfulness. Suffering might appear to be an obstacle or destructive presence. The punishment of death on the Cross which put and end to Jesus' life, might have made it look like His mission failed. Instead, in it, the Savior brought that mission to fulfillment. As is seen in His own words: "Amen, Amen, I tell you, unless the grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies it remains just a grain of wheat. But if it dies, it produces much fruit." From this sacrifice have come abundant fruits of life for humankind. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children... Resisting temptations. As long as we live in this world we cannot be without tribulation and temptation. Hence it is written in Job: "The life of man upon earth is a temptation." (Job 7:1) Therefore ought everyone to be solicitous about his temptations, and watch in prayer, lest the devil, who never sleeps, but goeth about seeking whom he may devour, find room to deceive him. (1Pet 5:8) No man is so perfect and holy as not to have some times temptations: and we cannot be wholly without them. Yet temptations are often very profitable in a man, although they be troublesome and grievous: for in the a man is humbled, purified and instructed. All the saints have passed through many tribulations and temptations and have profited by them: and they who could not support temptations have become reprobates and fallen away. There is no order so holy, nor place so retired, where there are not temptations and adversities. A man is never entirely secure from temptations as long as he lives, because we have within us the source of temptation, having been born in concupiscence. When one temptation or tribulation is over, another comes on: and we shall have always something to suffer, because we have lost the good of our original happiness. Many seek to fly temptations and fall more grievously into them. By flight alone we cannot overcome: but by patience and true humility we are made stronger than our enemies. He who declines them outwardly and does not pluck out the roots will profit little; nay temptations will sooner return to him, and he will find himself in a worse condition. By degrees, and by patience, with longanimity, thou shalt by God's grace better overcome them than by harshness and thine own importunity. In temptations often take counsel, and deal not roughly with one that is tempted; but comfort him as thou wouldst wish to be done to thyself. Inconstancy of mind and small confidence in God is the beginning of all evil temptations. However, we must be watchful, especially in the beginning of temptations, because then the enemy is easier overcome, if he is not suffered to come in at all at the door of the soul, but is kept out and resisted at his first knock. Whence a certain man said: "Withstand the beginning, after-remedies come too late." For first a bare thought comes to the mind: then a strong imagination; afterwards delight and evil motion and consent. And thus, by little and little, the wicked enemy sets full entrance when he is not resisted in the beginning. And the longer a man is negligent in resisting, so much the weaker does he daily become in himself, and the enemy becomes stronger against him. We must not, therefore, despair when we are tempted, but pray to God with so much the more fervor, that He may vouchsafe to help us in all tribulations. Let us, therefore, humble our souls, under the hand of God in all temptations and tribulations: for the humble in spirit He will save and exalt. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, the central message of Fatima can be understood by everyone, even children. The absolute need for conversion and the need for a life of prayer. These two fundamental truths contained in the Word of God are necessary for personal salvation, happiness, as well as for the salvation and happiness of all humanity. The Gospel tells us that Jesus Christ started His preaching by saying; "Repent, Repent, Repent, and believe the Good News. He insisted that we must pray, so as not to enter into temptation. The apostles practiced and preached the same message. Change your hearts and your lives, so that your sins be erased - forgiven - St. Peter to the people of Jerusalem. They were persistent in prayer, and St. Paul warned Christians - be tenacious and vigilant in prayer, and so through your Mother Mary, and the angel at Fatima, God requests us to change our hearts and our lives, conversion, and to have a life of prayer and to offer prayers and sacrifices for the conversion of sinners and for peace in the world. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My Children: Rejoice beloved children with all paradise, which today contemplates the divine light of the Most Holy Trinity, the splendor of your Heavenly Mother. I am the most pure reflection of the light, the love, and the holiness of God. Enter, all of you, into my immaculate heart with your consecration in this time of your second advent. Keep watch in prayer and with confidence. And await with lighted torches, within the gate of Heaven of your Heavenly Mother, the approaching return of the Lord Jesus in Glory. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children: Christmas is a universal feast. Even those that do not believe understand that this celebration has something different and transcendent about it. The Christian however, knows that it celebrates the central event of human history: The Incarnation of the Divine Word for the redemption of humanity. In fact, Christmas makes us reflect on one hand, about the dramatic quality of human history in which people wounded by sin are on a continuing quest for truth, pardon, mercy, and redemption; and on the other hand, about the goodness of God who drew near to mankind in order to communicate directly the truth which saves and makes us sharers of His friendship and light. Christmas is a feast of Divine Love. He created us out of love, and out of love He has redeemed us through Christ, and awaits us in His Kingdom. We do well to remember that we are miserably afflicted by three ills: We are easily led astray, weak in acting, and weak in resisting. If we want to distinguish between good and evil, we deceive ourselves; If we try to do good, we do not have the strength to force ourselves to resist evil. We are disheartened and give in. Therefore, we need the Saviors coming, and Christ's presence among people who are so afflicted. Thus, My Son Jesus teaches us that for God there is true value in humility, hiddenness, the peaceful and joyous acceptance of His will in a charity which is ready to do something about the many needs of our brothers and sisters. Christmas is the feast of God's love for mankind. As I express my very best wishes for a blessed Christmas, I heartily wish that you may be witnesses and messengers of this charity. Bring peacefulness and warmheartedness to your homes, parishes, and where ever you live your life. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, it is the mystery of salvation that we will be able to understand, and see the importance and the mission of the Mother of God, and will be able to perceive the attitude of the Church toward Mary. Holy scripture reveals the plan of God that evolves gradually through the centuries from the creation to the final glorification of the elect. People, in particularly the young, are not satisfied simply because we explained Fatima with the dialogues between the seers and the Virgin Mary. They want to hear about Mary as a person; the historic person, Mary. Christ and Mary are united in the same mystery and work of salvation. Jesus Christ is the center of the universe and of history, and everything happens through Him. By His incarnation, death, and resurrection He saved the world. Offering Himself to the Father and forming men into one body, the "Mystical Body" of which He is the head. It is through divine preference that I, Mary, became the Mother of the Redeemer. God wants to save humanity, and therefore He became man in Mary of Nazareth. It is extremely important to see Mary in the framework of the mystery of salvation. The interior action of the Holy Spirit is urging Christians of our time to make increasing use of the Bible as their basic book of prayer and to draw from it solid counsel and models, Devotion to the Blessed Virgin, in particular, should derive new strength and sure value from it. Unless we try to do our best to rediscover your Mother, Mary, through Holy Scripture, we will certainly loose strength and dynamism. During my mortal life, I, your Mother, gave perfect example of what it is to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. I ask you to go in holiness each and every day. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, continue to listen to my messages; and when you do that I will give you the blessings every day from the right side of the Cross. Why did they do this to me? Why did they discontinue the abortion prayer? I ask you to ask the woman to continue the prayer. It is very essential. The number one priority beginning this Lenten season, Wednesday, March 1st: I ask all of you to go to confession, reconciliation, and do much penance. When you do that, offer it for the intentions of my Immaculate Heart. I want you to hold your Rosary facing the Cross. I ask each and every one of you to pray the Rosary each day and meditate on the mysteries of the Rosary. Go in peace and harmony. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace. The Abortion Prayer mentioned in the above message: Dear Lord, I offer you all my prayers, sacrifice and fast of this day. I offer them to you, Heavenly Father, because I sorrow over the abortions done today and every day and I beg you to intercede. I place my small efforts at the foot of the Cross of the Crucified Christ who died to save our souls and to atone to you, Father, for my sins and the sins of all men. Your Son's Blood washed away sin and gave us the gift of life everlasting, Father, and in His Name, I ask for forgiveness of all those who have aborted Your gift of life from their womb. Father, I desire to do so much more to stop this dreaded sin which is upon all of us in this great land, and I seek your guidance and grace as I pursue efforts to restore respect for the lives of all your children. Please accept my sacrifices, dear Lord, and help all of us who strive for your will in this pro-life work. Amen.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, you are not living up to the devotions of the Lenten Season. It is not too late to start now. You must go on committing yourself to my Immaculate Heart, and please do the Lenten duties that I asked you to do. Go to confession, reconciliation, and do much penance for all the wrong doings you have done. Many have not gone to Mass during the week. I asked you to do so at this time. I am with you always, and I love each and every one of you. I keep all of you close to my Immaculate Heart, and I bless you each and every day that you are at the Cross. You deserve every blessing that I give to all of you. Remember each day that you are at the Cross to go in holiness. I will be able to keep my promise to Joseph that he will be here at the Cross on Easter Sunday, approximately 10:30, and he will be under my protection on the way to the Cross. Queen of Heaven Cemetery, here at the Cross, is a most blessed place. I want you to know that I am your motherly Mother. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

I come before you -- each of you-- at this Cross to remind you to renew your prayers of the Rosary at the Cross. I ask Joseph for each of you to continue your many prayers that you have offered to me for the many sick people of the world. Do not fail me at this time, as many of you have done. I will send you my blessings, which I give to you each day at the Cross. It is a very special blessing that I give to you all from the Cross. Continue to do so, because I love you all. Again I say to you, remember your prayers of the Rosary, and remember I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace. I bless you all for what you have done for me already. I pray and intercede before my Son Jesus, so that the dream that your fathers had may be fulfilled. Next at Christ the King Church in Lombard three Rosaries and mass, Celebration, confession, Communion and blessing will be given, on the first Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. I am your mother the Queen of Peace. May this offering, O Lord we beseech You, purify us from all our sins of the whole world. By the sign of the Holy Cross deliver us from our enemies Lord Jesus our God, and the Lord be with you and with the Holy Spirit. Be present with us O Lord our God, and support us with its increasing love. Help those whom you cause to rejoice in honor of the Holy Cross through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. Pray, pray much more. I convert myself entirely to you Lord Jesus and to those men who gave their entire selves to make us be able to sign these papers and for all those men who gave their entire self for all the people throughout the world to make the settlement honestly, and We commend all those people who worked so diligently to make a peace settlement and I ask all of you to pray for these people for making the effort as well as they did. Our prayers are meant for all those who gave their efforts to make their peace settlement, and it is a good one. Our prayers are thus said by saying that joyful mysteries are said in full agreement with all of us and the sorrowful mysteries to be said for all of these men who made their time and effort. This is my wish to all of you so this will be an everlasting peace and that all wars will end as soon as possible as we continue to pray. I am your mother, the Queen of Peace, and of all Rosaries, and of all Prayers. We want this to be an everlasting peace forever and this is for all the presidents who made this possible and who worked so diligently on making this a peace effort. My Son and I are so happy on this occasion that has occurred at this time. I want this to be a lasting peace and I send you my love to all of you and I never forgotten the blessing I give to each one of you. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace. And remember that these people are still suffering in Yugoslavia. The winters are very cold and snowy and wish there will be warmth for them so they can live a normal life. Those that are living in refugee camps will return home so they can live a normal life again. If they can not rebuild their homes, we can help them so they can get back on their feet again. Again, I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace and want this peace to be held together forever and ever, so let us help them regain their composure and live a normal life. Remember all those people who are terminally ill and waiting to recover from their illness. Remember that this was a binding offer from all the presidents who sat in on the conference which was a hard offer to express. Again, I say to you. Listen to my prayers which I say to you often. Let us remember that we must have peace throughout the world. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace.

Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. My children, Before I give you my message Joseph asked a few questions of me about prayers to be said at the Cross. First I would like all my children to continue to reverently pray the most Holy Rosary and during this Lenten season to pray the fifth mystery - the Crucifixion on your knees. Next I told Joseph to only pray the Divine Mercy Prayer at 3:00 PM daily from now on and to continue to pray the abortion prayer but only individually and from ones heart. Pray the Holy Rosary without distraction and with total reverence and devotion from your hearts my children. Pray for peace in your homes, in your families and throughout the whole world. Continue my children to pray for my priests to guide them and keep them in the church. Keep holy the holy day my children and fast in my name during this Lenten season. Continue to pray for my children and their mothers and fathers and for peace in the world. Pray for the sick and elderly and do penance for your sins. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace and Queen of the most Holy Rosary and I bless you all for your continued prayers for peace for all. I am your Mother, the Queen of Peace and the Holy Virgin Mother of God and all of you children. Listen to all of my messages to Joseph and continue to pray the Rosary daily, I need all of your prayers. NOTE: Joseph commented that Our Lady said that one can pray as many Rosaries and Divine Mercy prayers as they want throughout the day. This message applied to the prayer group at the Cross. Joseph was given permission from the Archdiocese of Chicago to pray between 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. During this hour, Our Lady chose for us to pray five decades of the Rosary, slow and from the heart, with reverence, devotion, and love. Also some of her messages from both Queen of Heaven and Medjugorje are read. Three Our Fathers, Hail Marys, and Glory Bes are offered up for all the sick, terminally ill, the handicapped, the elderly, those in nursing homes and the dying. Three Our Fathers and Glory Bes for peace in our hearts, families, the church, and a lasting peace for all peoples and nations. Three Our Fathers and Glory Bes for the poor souls in purgatory. When prayed at the pace Our Lady requested, this takes the entire hour. Our Lady also requests that we try to go to Mass, pray the other ten decades of the Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, the Peace Rosary, and personal prayers every day. Of course, Our Lady said we can do more if we desire.

My heart is deeply saddened my children because some of you are questioning my messages and not making them apart of you daily lives. Why do you question, have you no faith? My messages are important, please hear them and practice and live them from your hearts. I ask each of you dear children to pray, pray three Rosaries every day. Pray the Joyful mysteries, the Sorrowful mysteries and the Glorious mysteries and pray them with reverence and devotion from your heart. As you pray each decade of each mystery my children reflect on each individual mystery and what it means. I also ask each of you to continue to attend the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and receive the Body and Blood of my Son, Jesus Christ in the form of bread and wine. I also ask that each of you participate more during mass by following the readings and Gospels more closely and make them apart of your daily lives. I love you all my dear children and I ask that each of you to continue to pray for the poor souls in purgatory, the sick and handicapped, and for my little children who need our love and direction very much. Pray also my children for peace within yourselves and for peace throughout the whole world. Continue to pray for our Holy Father the Pope and my priests, nuns and lay persons so that they will better understand my Son's teachings and words and how to better deliver his messages to us so that we will better understand and live them. Some of you my children have stone hearts, learn to forgive and pray as families. Some of you may find this difficult to do but to experience conversion you must find a way. Remember the commandments that were given from God the Father to each of you my children and start to live them daily. Go to confession more often my children because peace within yourself starts there. Change your ways my little children and be more like my Son, Jesus Christ. Learn to be more humble and find forgiveness in your hearts. Mothers and fathers, husbands and wives must first find peace between themselves before they will find it with their children. You first need to find peace yourself within you. Don't blame others for you mistakes my children, learn to accept responsibility for your misdeeds and ask for God's help and mercy. My dearest children, please continue to pray the most Holy Rosary with sincerity and dignity. Pray slower my children and meditate on the meaning of each decade of each mystery. Pray from your hearts with reverence and devotion. Pray the Joyful mysteries on Monday and Thursday, the Sorrowful mysteries on Tuesday and Friday, and the Glorious mysteries on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. I ask that a daily Rosary be said by each of you for all the poor souls in Purgatory my children. Some of you my children need to change your ways. Praise Jesus. Praise Jesus. Why my children do you still not live my messages? Each month I give to Joseph my messenger a message for all of you. Some of you still choose not to hear. Learn to be more humble my children. I have given you the keys to salvation. Pray the most Holy Rosary, attend Mass with a pure heart, receive the sacraments of Penance and Communion and live my messages. Conversion to my Son Jesus Christ and living the commandments are necessary for salvation my children, keep holy these keys of salvation. Some of you have brought much sadness to my heart and that of my Son through your actions and I ask you to repent and seek forgiveness from those you have offended. Humble yourselves my children and open your cold hearts to my Son. I ask each of you to sit down each day and read one of my messages and then start to live them. Make my messages a part of your daily lives. Dear children, your world has again become very sinful and Satan has taken control again of many souls. Pray my children for all sinners throughout the whole world. Continue to pray for all my clergy, especially for your holy Father the Pope and for peace throughout the whole world. Look at the Cross in front of you my children and think of what my Son Jesus Christ, did for all of you through His death and resurrection. Some of you my children have become weak in your faith since Joseph has not been with you, where is your trust in God? Time is growing short for all of you my children, soon my Son will give to the world a great sign that all peoples will see and recognize. Repent for your sins my children and live your lives in Christ for there is much danger and turmoil in the world. Continue to pray, pray from your hearts for an end to wars and killing. Pray for world peace and for the leaders of all countries to find the road to lasting peace. Please dear children, continue to pray for all the poor souls in purgatory, the sick and elderly and for those who have left the faith. Pray for all my cardinals, bishops, priests, deacons and nuns to continue to teach and spread the word of God. Pray for world peace and for the leaders of all countries to find the road to lasting peace. I love all of you my children and ask each of you to read and live the messages I have given you over the years, especially those within the last year.
