Count Louis Hamon (Cheiro), England, 1866-1936

British clairvoyant and palmist Count Louis Hamon, who was known for the accuracy of his predictions made through palmistry, numerology and astrology. He lived in Hollywood in the 1930s, establishing a school of metaphysics. In 1926 he wrote Cheiros World Predictions where he predicted much of the history of the past seven decades

1927 Prediction: "Germany and Italy will war against France and England. In the coming 50 years an earthquake zone will develop in NE Pacific coast of Peru up through to the Arctic regions. Eastern cities of the U.S. will be affected, and parts of New York will be destroyed in 50-100 years. A series of earthquakes will cause the Azores to rise and Atlantis will resurface and be explored."
