Bug
de Milhaus was a Spaniard – he was a Saintly man living in the Pyranees
Mountains. He predicted many events which have already come to pass in every
detail.
“A
European war is announced by many prophets and their predictions will be
accomplished: what can the man do against the power of destiny?…That war will
ravage all places. Pestilence and many other plagues will scatter terror
everywhere. The fanaticism of false beliefs and of intolerant parties will fill
many countries with victims. Iberia and
Portugal will be the asylum of all its refugees. Catholic feeling from the fury
of their enemies will seek refuge in Spain…” 1
“Then
the region of the river Tajo will produce a valiant warrior similar to the CID
and he will be as religious as Ferdinand III who planting the standard of faith
will unit around himself innumerable armies. With his army he will go out to
meet a formidable giant who with his ferocious soldiers will advance towards
the conquest of the Peninsula…” 2
“The
Pyrenees will witness the cruellest combat ever seen throughout the centuries.
The battle will last 3 days. In vain the fearsome giant will try to encourage
his own to continue to fight but the finger of God will already show him the
end of his reign and his army will fall under the sword of the new Cid….” 3
“Then
the victorious army, protected by their Supreme Creator, will cross provinces
and seas and will carry the standard of the Cross even to the banks of the river
Neva (the heart of Russia). The Catholic religion will triumph everywhere…” 4
